We'd like to call out a very exciting new item that has been long-awaited and will make many of our customers happy:

  • Add-on groups can now be set up and applied exactly when you need them—at reservation creation, on the stay card, or within group bookings! It’s a smoother, more intuitive way to enhance every stay.
  • We're making compliance smarter: Deposit Invoices are now automatically fiskalized for properties using EFSTA or Fiskaltrust—covering both guest and group invoices. Stay fully aligned with legal requirements, with zero extra steps!
  • For properties with Purpose of Stay enabled, a new dropdown now appears in the "Demographics" popup during reservation creation—displaying all active purposes of stay and saving selections directly to the stay card. Want to make it mandatory? A new “Force Purpose of Stay” setting lets you require this field during reservation creation and check-in—whether using the digital registration card or not.
  • Tipping via terminal is now supported for Stayntouch Pay/Adyen clients!

Dashboard

1. Default Dashboard To “Contains” Instead Of “Starts With”


From Settings > Hotel & Staff, you’ll now find a new tile called Dashboard, where you can select a DASHBOARD SEARCH DEFAULT of either Starts With (default) or Contains. When Starts With is selected, the dashboard search option will default to STARTS WITH, and users can still change the search option on the dashboard. Likewise, if Contains is selected, the dashboard search option will default to CONTAINS, and users can still change the search option on the dashboard. Read more here.

 




 

Reports

2. Comparison Scheduled Report Summary View


From Reports > Schedule a Report/Export > Scheduled Reports > + NEW REPORT SCHEDULE > Comparison, we’ve added a new parameter for OPTION(S) called SUMMARY VIEW. When selected, the report will only show the charge group totals, and not each charge code. This change applies to the PDF, CSV, JSON, and TXT formats of the report. Read more here.




Add-On Groups

3. Attach Add-On Groups: Reservation Creation, Stay Card, & Group


Add-on groups can now be configured from Settings > Rates > Add-On Groups > + ADD NEW. Simply enter a NAME for the add-on group, select a CURRENCY (if the ENABLE MULTIPLE CURRENCIES toggle is enabled for your property from Settings > Hotel & Staff > Multi Currency; if disabled, it will default to the property default currency). and move add-ons to be assigned to the add-on group from Available Add-Ons to Assigned Add-Ons.





Once configured, add-on groups can be attached during reservation creation, via the stay card, and via groups (as illustrated below). Read more here.

 

From Create Reservation Screen

 

You can now add an add-on group to a reservation from the Create Reservation screen. When the Enhance Stay screen is displayed, a new section titled ADD-ON GROUPS will display. Within the ADD-ON GROUPS section, all configured add-on groups will display. Users can expand to see elements of an add-on group. Add-on groups can be added and removed from a reservation as a whole; however, you can’t remove just one element inside the add-on group. This is also applicable to group accounts. No changes have been made to invoices, the Guest Bill add-on charge posting, or the Activity Log.


 

From The Stay Card

 

You can now add an add-on group to a reservation from the stay card. When the Enhance Stay screen is displayed, a new section titled ADD-ON GROUPS will display. Within the ADD-ON GROUPS section, all configured add-on groups will display. Users can expand to see elements of an add-on group. Add-on groups can be added and removed from a reservation as a whole; however, you can’t remove just one element inside the add-on group. Add-on groups can be added to a reservation directly from the stay card. No changes have been made to invoices or the Guest Bill add-on charge posting.




From A Group

 

Add-on groups are now visible on the Add-Ons & Packages screen for groups. Within the add-on group, all configured add-ons will display. Users can expand to see all elements of an add-on group. Add-on groups can be added and removed from the group as a whole. You cannot remove just one element inside the add-on group. No changes have been made to invoices and bill add-on charge posting. Please note, add-on groups are only available when a Group Rate has been attached to a group. The ability to attach add-on groups to groups with a Custom Rate will be released at a future date.



Groups

4. Print Option Added To Group Confirmation


A PRINT LETTER button has been added to the SEND CONFIRMATION popup window on a group (regardless of guest confirmation toggle). Users can then print the confirmation letter. The layout matches the email layout for the confirmation letter. Read more here.




Digital Registration Card (In Pilot)

5. Digital Registration Card: Display Promotions & Newsletter Popup


When the Promotions & Newsletter Opt-In functionality has been enabled for a property from Settings > Hotel & Staff > Stationery, and OPT-IN has been enabled from Settings > Cards > Guest Card Fields, a PROMOTIONS & NEWSLETTER OPT-IN checkbox will display on the digital registration card below the signature field (if the signature field is present).


If OPT-IN is marked as mandatory, selection of the PROMOTIONS & NEWSLETTER OPT-IN checkbox will be mandatory to continue.




Similarly, if OPT-IN is not marked as mandatory, selection of the PROMOTIONS & NEWSLETTER OPT-IN checkbox will not be mandatory to continue.



The Promotions & Newsletter Opt-In text configured in Settings > Hotel & Staff > Stationery will be displayed on the digital registration card. If the guest card already has the PROMOTIONS & NEWSLETTER OPT-IN checkbox selected, the checkbox on the digital registration card will already be selected.

 

Users can click the PROMOTIONS & NEWSLETTER OPT-IN hyperlink to open the corresponding popup window with the configured text. Users can accept or decline the opt-in and exit the popup window. The opt-in status will then be displayed on the guest card. Read more here.

6. Digital Registration Card Displayed For Queued Rooms


When a user selects PUT IN QUEUE from the stay card, they will be prompted to complete the digital registration card. All mandatory fields will be marked as mandatory with an asterisk, and mandatory fields not completed will be highlighted in red. Any updated fields will be saved to the registration card and guest card. The user can then click to proceed to place the reservation in the queue, regardless of whether registration is complete. Please note, any mandatory fields not completed will still be mandatory prior to checking the guest in. Read more here.



7. Digital Registration Card: Skip Mandatory Fields


A SKIP MANDATORY FIELDS checkbox is now present on the digital registration card. When selected, the guest details will not be displayed. The user can continue to check-in, even if mandatory fields are missing. Any forced fields (country, nationality, purpose of stay) will still be displayed as mandatory to continue to check-in. Deselecting the SKIP MANDATORY FIELDS checkbox will display guest details and require all mandatory fields to be entered before continuing to check-in. Read more here.




Purpose Of Stay

8. Purpose Of Stay During Reservation Creation


If Purpose of Stay is enabled for a property, during reservation creation, a PURPOSE OF STAY dropdown has been added to the DEMOGRAPHICS popup window. The PURPOSE OF STAY dropdown shows all active purposes of stay (defaults to blank). The purpose of stay will be saved to the stay card. Read more here.

 



9. Force Purpose Of Stay


From Settings > Reservations > Reservations Settings, you’ll find a new checkbox called FORCE PURPOSE OF STAY. When selected, the purpose of stay will be enforced during the reservation creation process, check-in process if not using the digital registration card, and check-in process when using the digital registration card. Availability

10. Item Inventory By Day


Item Inventory count by day via the Availability screen is accurate based on custom add-on configuration. Stayntouch PMS will now take into consideration custom days and date ranges set on an individual reservation’s add-on.

 


Stayntouch Guest Mobility 

11. Stayntouch Guest Mobility: Billing Address


Per the new billing address functionality on the guest card, guests will now see a billing address option via Stayntouch Guest Mobility. When the guest enters a billing address via Stayntouch Guest Mobility, it will populate on the guest card.

 

Invoices

12. Deposit Invoice Not Created For Payments Made On Day Of Arrival


When the Deposit Invoice functionality is enabled, pre-payments for reservations with an arrival date equal to the business date do not generate a Deposit Invoice. These payments are posted to the deposit ledger and move to the guest ledger upon check-in, no-show, or cancellation. Stayntouch PMS restricts moving such payments to future reservations or changing the arrival/start date to a future date. However, date extensions or shortenings are allowed. Payments can only be moved to:

  • Reservations with the same arrival date as the business date, or,
  • Already checked-in reservations (in which case, the payment moves to the guest ledger).

13. Deposit Invoice Added To EFSTA Fiskalization Process


Per legal requirements for properties using Deposit Invoices, when a property has EFSTA enabled, Deposit Invoices will be fiskalized. Deposit bills will be fiskalized for both guest and group invoices.

14. Deposit Invoice Added To Fiskaltrust Fiskalization Process


Per legal requirements for properties using Deposit Invoices, when a property has Fiskaltrust enabled, Deposit Invoices will be fiskalized. Deposit bills will be fiskalized for both guest and group invoices.

 

Payments

15. Stayntouch Pay/Adyen: Authorization With Amount Via Terminal


The Stayntouch Pay and Adyen payment gateways now support authorization with an amount via payment terminal. This feature will allow for Stayntouch PMS users to process an authorization with an amount via the terminal via the stay card of the reservation. Read more here.

16. Stayntouch Pay/Adyen: Tipping Via Terminal


Tipping via terminal is now supported for Stayntouch Pay/Adyen clients. This functionality needs to be enabled by Stayntouch Admin, so please contact Customer Support to enable this for your property. Once activated, Stayntouch Admin will be able to configure tips with the PMS user via the Stayntouch Admin portal. Following configuration, the terminal will show an option to add a tip amount when a transaction is initiated via the PMS.



Use Case Example:

  • The PMS user initiates a terminal payment of 50 EUR via Stayntouch PMS.
  • The guest adds a 1 EUR tip via the terminal.
  • 51 EUR will be captured/paid by the guest.
  • 51 EUR will be posted in Stayntouch PMS and reflected on the guest bill.
  • The total outstanding balance on the bill was 50 EUR, meaning 1 EUR will need to be offset manually on the guest bill via (for example) CASH.

 

Multi-Property Configuration

17. Multi-Property Configuration: Currency Amount Added To Promotions


Multi-Property users can now select a Discount Type of Amount (in addition to Percentage) for promotions via Configuration > Rates > Promotions.
