
[NEW!] Billing Address Added To Guest Card
Guest cards will now display a Billing Address section, which will allow you to select a checkbox to USE DIFFERENT ADDRESS FOR BILLING. If the new postal code logic is activated for your property, this functionality will also apply.
Please note, the following fields need to be enabled from Settings > Cards > Guest Card Fields for this functionality to be enabled:
- Billing Email
- Billing Address
- Billing Address2
- Billing City
- Billing Postal
- Billing State
- Billing Country
When the USE DIFFERENT ADDRESS FOR BILLING checkbox is selected, all invoice templates will use the billing address. However, if USE DIFFERENT ADDRESS FOR BILLING is not selected, invoice templates will use the guest details, even if the billing address is present.
Moreover, when the USE DIFFERENT ADDRESS FOR BILLING checkbox is selected, and there is an email address present in the Billing Address section, Stayntouch PMS will use the billing email address for emails. If an email address is not present in the Billing Address section, Stayntouch PMS will use the primary email address.
Billing address details and billing email address will only be used for billing purposes. All other email actions, such as check-in, sending keys, confirmation emails, etc. will use the primary guest email address.
Please note, when the USE DIFFERENT ADDRESS FOR BILLING checkbox is selected, any updates from Stayntouch Guest Mobility or Stayntouch Guest Kiosk will update the billing email address, not the primary guest email address.
