ⓘ We'd like to call out a very exciting new item that has been long-awaited and will make many of our customers happy:
- All New Digital Registration Card! We’ve made guest registration smoother than ever! The new SEND TO KIOSK button locks your registration card for consistent data, while still letting you refresh, pull back, or continue editing as needed. The kiosk home screen now offers a clean, modern view of all registration options.
- Copy Existing Group Details! You can now copy an existing group’s (Groups > Manage Groups) details to quickly create a new one—perfect for repeat or returning guests! Simply click the new DUPLICATE button to open a pre-filled group creation screen with key details carried over. All fields remain fully editable, making group setup faster, smarter, and more flexible.
- Pay Now Charges For Passerby Accounts! The PAY NOW functionality allows hotels to perform one-off sales, which will use a passerby account to hold the bill once it is finalized. The flow for PAY NOW cannot be completed if the bill is not settled. Once settled, the bill will be available from the passerby account that was used. From the passerby account, you can perform a void action if the transaction needs to be refunded to the guest.

We’ve made guest registration smoother than ever! The new SEND TO KIOSK button locks your registration card for consistent data, while still letting you refresh, pull back, or continue editing as needed. The kiosk home screen now offers a clean, modern view of all registration options, whether for a single guest—with dynamic, full-screen forms and fixed actions at the bottom—or for multiple guests, with a summary view and smooth navigation through each guest’s details. Plus, our smarter on-screen keyboard maximizes space by hiding navigation and expanding the form for faster, easier entry. Read more here.


Display Configured Photos Via Digital Registration Card When Idle
Bring your front desk to life! When the digital registration card isn’t in use, it now turns idle screens into stunning digital displays featuring your property photos—single images stay put, while multiple photos play as a smooth slideshow. A hidden button in the corner lets staff quickly return to the admin screen, making it both beautiful and functional. Read more here.

Configure Digital Registration Card
Hotel Admin users can now fully customize the digital registration card experience via Settings > Kiosk > Registration. Assign workstations, set inactivity timeouts, upload images, and instantly apply settings for a smooth, branded guest check-in. Plus, a new Registration shortcut is now available on the kiosk home screen for quick access. Please note, the digital registration card option appears only when enabled by Stayntouch Admin. Send Digital Registration Card To Kiosk
Front desk agents can now send a guest’s registration card straight to a kiosk for quick completion and signature! With the new SEND TO KIOSK button, guests can fill out, sign, and submit their registration without leaving the kiosk, while agents stay in control with refresh and pull-back options. Cards auto-expire after 30 seconds of inactivity or 5 minutes after interaction begins, keeping the process secure and seamless. Read more here.

Front desk agents can now safeguard guest information like never before! The new PULL BACK button instantly removes a registration card from a kiosk, returning it to the welcome screen and keeping sensitive data private—while all entered information stays securely saved. Digital Registration Card Auto Timeout
Keep guest data secure and front desk flow smooth! The kiosk now automatically clears inactive registration sessions, with smart reservation handling, configurable timeouts, and a 5-minute auto reset. Additional Children Via Digital Registration Card
Registering guests with children just got easier! The digital registration card now captures all mandatory child details with smart summaries, automatic saving, and clear status indicators. Automatic Guest Card Creation For Additional Guests & Children
When guests use the digital registration card to add an additional adult or child, the system will automatically create a new guest card (if one doesn’t already exist)—no manual steps needed.
Digital Registration Card: Stay Summary & Expanded Stay View
Now guests can see their full stay details directly on the digital registration card, making check-ins faster and more transparent. The summary shows key information—dates, nights, rates, add-ons—and can be expanded for a detailed daily breakdown, while suppressed rates stay hidden for clarity. Pay Now Functionality
The PAY NOW functionality allows hotels to perform one-off sales, which will use a passerby account to hold the bill once it is finalized. The flow for PAY NOW cannot be completed if the bill is not settled. Once settled, the bill will be available from the passerby account that was used. You can now select passerby accounts and post PAY NOW charges directly from the Front Desk > Post Charges screen, with updated headers, a blue PROCEED TO SUMMARY button, and improved filtering/search. The CHARGES SUMMARY screen shows account details, calculates linked taxes, updates totals in real time, and offers clear navigation while maintaining consistent styling. Read more here.

Pay Now: Passerby Account Selection & Detach Card
Users can now post charges to passerby accounts directly from the Post Charges screen. Toggle between ROOM CHARGE and PAY NOW modes, select or search passerby accounts, and easily switch or DETACH accounts before proceeding—making charge posting faster and more flexible. Read more here.

Pay Now made simple! The payment popup now shows your passerby account info, all available payment methods (minus Direct Bill), smooth loading states, and easy navigation back to your charges summary. Read more here.

Pay Now: Pay Now Post Charge/Lock Bill & Print/Email
Post charges to ancillary accounts, lock finalized bills, and print or email them with real-time status updates. Enjoy clear confirmations, error handling, loading indicators, and fully localized UI labels. Read more here.

Enhanced Item Charge Display
You can now configure item charges to display grouped under Items (instead of Favorites) in the Post Charges/Passerby Charges screen. Favorites labeling remains in item configuration, new items are flagged by default, and existing favorites stay flagged. Read more here.

Numpad Support For Post Charges
You asked, we delivered! Users can now use the numpad for all keyboard actions on the Post Charges screen. No more switching between number keys—speed up your workflow and enter charges more efficiently. This enhancement applies to all Post Charges screens across the application.

Passerby/Grab & Go
New Connect APIs For Grab & Go & Passerby!
Users can now seamlessly interact with Grab & Go and Passerby features through new APIs, including:
- Create Bill: Instantly generate new bills with ease.
- Post Charges: Add charges in real-time, keeping everything up-to-date.
- Lock Bill: Secure your bill to prevent accidental changes.
- Check & Hide Last Bill: Automatically detect the final bill and hide it when posting is discontinued.
Passerby Account Interface Enhancements
We’ve streamlined the passerby account experience with a cleaner sidebar, clearer VOID/VOIDED bill statuses, and improved search messaging—making it faster for hotel staff to find the right information without clutter. Read more here.

Hotel Configuration & Use Of Last Room Value (LRV)
Stayntouch PMS now supports IDeaS’ Last Room Value (LRV), empowering hotels to maximize revenue with intelligent, value-based pricing. LRV dynamically adjusts rates based on demand, availability, and room type—ensuring every room sells at its optimal value while simplifying the guest booking experience. With configurable yieldable rates, automated updates, and seamless integration, hotels can effortlessly balance profitability and flexibility, taking a major step beyond traditional rate strategies. You can now copy an existing group’s (Groups > Manage Groups) details to quickly create a new one—perfect for repeat or returning guests! Reports/Exports
Custom CSV Separator for Exports
You now have more control over your data exports! A new Export Settings option is available under Settings > Stats & Reports > Export Settings > EXPORT CSV SEPARATOR. Here, you can choose your preferred CSV separator—Comma (,), Semicolon (;), or Pipe (|)—to match your country’s data standards.
Once set, all custom exports will automatically use your selected separator, making it easier to work with your reports in local tools and formats.
Note: This update applies to scheduled exports, the Commission Export, and End of Day report balance exports from the Journal. This is not yet available for individual report exports.

Purpose of Stay Insights In Daily Production By Demographics Report
Hotel managers can now get deeper insights into guest behavior! We’ve added a new Include Purpose display option to the Daily Production by Demographics Report (Reports > New Report)—available when the Purpose of Stay toggle is active.
What’s New:
- A new Purpose of Stay section appears in the report when selected.
- Each active purpose of stay is listed with daily room totals.
- Totals are now highlighted in bold for quick visibility.
- Updates apply across PMS view, CSV export, print view, and scheduled report.

Custom Exports: Primary External References Update
We've improved the way custom exports (Reports > Schedule a Report/Export > Custom Exports > + NEW EXPORT) handle external references for reservations! Previously, only references of type CONFIRMATION NUMBER marked as Primary were included. With this update:
- All primary external references are now included in exports, regardless of type.
- If multiple confirmation numbers exist, the most recently added one is prioritized, with primary references taking precedence.
- Only one confirmation value will appear per reservation to keep exports clean and accurate.
Business On The Books By Room Type Report
We’re excited to introduce a new Business on the Books by Room Type Report! The Business on the Books by Room Type Report can be run from Reports > New Report > Property BoB by Room Type Report. Read more here.

We’re excited to introduce a new Duplicate Profile Report, designed to help identify duplicate guest profiles. The Duplicate Profile Report can be run from Reports > New Report. Read more here.

Payments
Custom Payment Link On Reservations & Accounts (Stayntouch Pay/Adyen Only)
You can now generate payment links for individual reservations and house and group accounts. The payment link now allows for Stayntouch PMS users to add a “free form” amount followed by a payment link. By expanding payment link capabilities, we enable hotels to offer contactless payment options across all guest interaction scenarios, reducing friction in the payment process and improving operational efficiency. Items to Note:
- At this stage, the custom payment link functionality is only available for hotels using Stayntouch Pay/Adyen.
- Please contact Customer Support to have this enabled for your property.
Integrations
POS Check Management
You can now instantly view, print, or email professional POS receipts right from Guest Bills—no more lost restaurant checks. Connect API partners make every receipt accessible, even if charges move between bills. Read more here.



Control Derived Rate Updates To Windsurfer (Recommended For All Windsurfer Hotels!)
A new control for derived rate updates to Windsurfer improves efficiency and performance for connected hotels. The new SEND DERIVED RATES toggle via Settings > Integrations > Central Reservation System > Windsurfer allows hotels to manage whether child or derived rate updates are sent from the PMS.
- When ON, both parent and child rate updates are sent to Windsurfer.
- When OFF, only parent rates are transmitted, reducing outbound traffic and improving synchronization speed, API efficiency, and overall system stability.
- The toggle defaults to OFF when the integration is activated.

Hotels using revenue management systems are strongly encouraged to keep this setting OFF, managing derived rates directly in Windsurfer for faster updates, simplified workflows, and more reliable Stayntouch to Windsurfer communication.
New Connect API: POS Check Detail Submission For Guest Reservations
We have added a POST /reservations/{id}/pos_check_detail endpoint for external POS systems to submit multiline check data linked to guest reservations. This endpoint accepts reference_number (string) matching the check ID from POST /reservations/{id}/transactions and details (string) containing newline-delimited check content. Each \n-separated line is processed as a distinct POS check item with no validation or parsing, preserving original formatting.
New Connect API: POS Check Detail Submission For Posting Accounts
We have added a POST /posting_accounts/{id}/pos_check_detail endpoint for submitting detailed POS check data to house or group accounts. This mirrors the reservations endpoint, accepting reference_number (string) and details (multiline string). Content is split by newline characters and stored as individual POS check line items without parsing or validation. reference_number must match a check previously posted via POST /posting_accounts/{id}/transactions.
Webhooks: HMAC-SHA256 Signature Authentication
Webhook security now uses HMAC-SHA256 signature verification. Each payload includes an snt-webhook-signature HTTP header containing a signature generated with the subscription’s webhook signature secret from PMS Settings. Integrations must verify authenticity by computing the HMAC-SHA256 of the raw request body with their secret and comparing it to the header value. Webhook secrets are stored with ActiveRecord encryption.
