[NEW!] Pay Now Functionality
The PAY NOW functionality allows hotels to perform one-off sales, which will use a passerby account to hold the bill once it is finalized. The flow for PAY NOW cannot be completed if the bill is not settled. Once settled, the bill will be available from the passerby account that was used. From the passerby account, you can perform a void action if the transaction needs to be refunded to the guest.

Pay Now Charges For Passerby Accounts!
You can now select passerby accounts and seamlessly post PAY NOW charges directly through the Front Desk > Post Charges screen. Key updates include:
Post Charges Screen Enhancements:
- Updated header to show selected passerby account info.
- The POST CHARGES button is now a blue PROCEED TO SUMMARY button in the PAY NOW mode.
- All existing charge selection functionality remains intact.
- Loading states displayed during account operations.
- Filter and search now only show items without service fees or stay-type taxes.
Charges Summary Screen Updates:
- Confirmation popup shows selected passerby account details in the header.
- Future transactions created for selected charges with linked taxes calculated automatically.
- Total amount due displayed with inclusive/exclusive tax breakdown.
- Transactions can be removed with real-time summary recalculation.
- Clear navigation with PROCEED TO PAYMENT and BACK buttons.
- Account detachment is prevented at this stage.
- Popup can be closed via X button or outside click.
- Styling consistent with existing confirmation screens.
Pay Now: Passerby Account Selection & Detach Card
We’ve introduced a new account type selector in the post charges popup header, allowing users to easily toggle between ROOM CHARGE and PAY NOW modes. The default remains ROOM CHARGE, maintaining existing behavior, while all post charges functionality—including charge group selection, search, scroll, and pagination—remains unchanged.
When PAY NOW is selected, a new Passerby No. or Name component displays a dropdown of all available passerby accounts, filtering out house, group, and POS accounts. The dropdown shows account name, type, and relevant details, and will auto-select the account if only one exists. For multiple accounts, a searchable dropdown allows users to find accounts by Passerby No. or Name, with a single unified search section for simplicity. Selected accounts populate details immediately, with the option to DETACH and reselect until proceeding to the summary.
Pay Now: Payment Processing
We’ve revamped the payment popup for a smoother passerby (Pay Now) experience:
- Updated Header: See your passerby account information front and center—Account Name and Account Number clearly displayed.
- Streamlined Payment Options: All payment methods are available except Direct Bill, with the familiar selection UI.
- Seamless Navigation: Click CANCEL to return to the charges summary screen effortlessly.
- Smooth Transactions: Loading states now show correctly while your payment is processing.
