Stayntouch IBE: Access Code For Booking

For hotels using Stayntouch IBE, we now allow you to use an access code to make a reservation via Stayntouch IBE. This feature allows your guests to book contracted rates online and is useful for marketing email links with a promotion code as well as any negotiated rates for companies.

Step 1: Navigate to Settings > Rates > Rates and create a rate with a Corporate rate type: https://stayntouch.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/24000046408-rate-types

Step 2: Add the corporate rate to Settings > Rates > Channel Manager > Internet Booking Engine: https://stayntouch.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/24000042473-mapping-channel-manager-rates

Step 3: Set up the desired company card with a contracted rate. Please note, the access code is what will be used for companies to book their rate on the Stayntouch IBE: https://stayntouch.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/24000070613-how-to-set-up-contracted-rates

This completes the setup in Stayntouch PMS.

Step 4: Now if a company wants to book online, the property will be able to provide the access code for that company to book with. You can enter the access code on Stayntouch IBE in two different ways.

To send a booking link directly to the customer with an access code, you can send the following URL, as this has the date range and access code included:

https://[hotelname].ibe.stayntouch.com/search-results?checkin=08-07-2024&checkout=08-08-2024&adults=2&kids=0&accessCode=ACCESSCODE

Please note, this will include a standard filter for the number of adults as well as arrival and departure date, but this can be adjusted by the customer by using the filters on the left side of the search page.

When the reservation is created, it will show in Stayntouch PMS with the company card associated.
