Mapping Channel Manager Rates

There is no mapping that needs to be done between Stayntouch PMS and systems like Amadeus, Galileo, Worldspan, Sabre, Booking.com, etc., as there is no direct interface between Stayntouch PMS and those systems. We interface with Central Reservation Systems (SiteMinder, TravelClick, SynXis, etc.), and they interface with Global Distribution Systems.

Room and rate code need to be 1:1 with the CRS. You can also map payment type, segments, and source code, but this is not required.

In this segment, we will cover the mapping that needs to be done between Stayntouch PMS and your CRS for rate and room type. Any rates and corresponding room types you want sold by your CRS need to be mapped under Settings > Rates > Channel Managers. The rates and room types must have a 1:1 mapping with the rates and room types on the CRS.

Next, select the active channel manager for which you wish to map (or modify) a rate. Please note, only active integrations will be toggled ON. In the provided example, we will use SynXis, but the process is the same for all CRSs.

To map a new rate, select +ADD NEW.

Begin typing the rate name you wish to map.

The display will now show all associated room types for this rate. Click the green arrow to include all (most common). You may also exclude specific room types from messages sent to the CRS by not including them in the Assigned Room Types list on the right hand side.

Then, scroll to the bottom and select SAVE.

At this point, the rate/room types combination will be published and sent to the Channel Manager.

To disable rate messages already configured, you can toggle them OFF from the CHANNEL MANAGER RATES screen. Alternatively, to delete the rate altogether, click the red button.

You may also select the rate name to edit the room types as in the previous step.
