PRODUCT ENHANCEMENTS
Alert User Upon Property Group Deletion
Users will now receive an alert stating, “Deleting property group with associated hotels,” when attempting to delete a property group from Settings > Chain > Property Groups. Users have the option to select CONTINUE to proceed with deletion or select CANCEL. If the user chooses to CANCEL, the property group will not be deleted. If the user selects CONTINUE, the property group will be deleted. The Multi-Property Availability screen and Multi-Property dashboard (where activated) will then be updated when the property group is deleted. The property group will be deleted from all properties within the chain.
Extended Early Check-In Options via Stayntouch Guest Mobility
If a guest attempts to check in via Stayntouch Guest Mobility earlier than the hotel’s early check-in window (which can be configured from Settings > Promos & Upsell > Upsell Early Check-In), they will now receive a message stating they can check in early if they select a check-in time within the early check-in window. They can then select from time starting from the first early check-in offer.
Stayntouch Guest Mobility: Embed a WhatsApp Logo and Link on Check-In Email
You can now embed a WhatsApp logo and link to display on the Stayntouch Guest Mobility check-in email. To enable this feature, navigate to Settings > Guest Mobility > Check-In and turn ON the SHOW WHATSAPP LINK IN ID COLLECTION SCREEN toggle.
When a guest clicks on the WhatsApp logo from the check-in email, they will be directed to the WhatsApp application, and the guest can begin communicating with the phone number provided in Hotel & Staff > Hotel Details > Hotel Details > PHONE. Please note, this must be a mobile phone number in order for this feature to work.
Save Signatures for Viewing on Guest Bill During Kiosk Check-In
We now save the signature taken for credit card authorization and payment during Stayntouch Guest Kiosk check-in, which can be viewed on the Guest Bill screen. We also save the acceptance of Terms & Conditions in the stay card Activity Log.
If there is no credit card involved and no signature, we will capture just the acceptance of Terms & Conditions.
MULTI-PROPERTY FUNCTIONALITY
The Multi-Property functionality is now in general release. You can read more about this functionality in the below release notes:
To activate this functionality, please see this article for instructions. Please note, this functionality must be enabled by Stayntouch Admin, so please contact Customer Support or your CSM to have this enabled for your hotel.
Multi-Property Dashboard: Chain Color Selection
You can now select a chain color option that will be used in the Multi-Property dashboard. Please note, this must be done by a Stayntouch Admin user. Please contact Customer Support to have them select a color option for your chain. The chain color will be applied to the initials/logout button as well as the chain name (if a logo has not been uploaded).
Non-Live Hotels Do Not Display on Multi-Property Dashboard
Hotels marked as “Cancelled” or “Suspended” do not display on the Multi-Property dashboard. Only hotels marked as “Live” or “Configuration” are displayed on the Multi-Property dashboard.
Closed Rates Display Last on Multi-Property Dashboard When Sorted by BAR Ascending
When the Multi-Property dashboard is sorted by BAR ASC, closed rates (rates marked with a “C”) will display last on the screen.
Multi-Property Guest Card Note Sharing
Users that have access to multiple properties within a chain can view all guest card notes for all properties set up within a chain (as long as the user has access to those properties). Please note, users can only add, edit, and/or delete notes for their home property. They will only be able to view notes from other properties within the chain. Notes will now be marked according to which property added the note.
