PRODUCT ENHANCEMENTS

Group ProForma Invoice Shows 0.00 Rate Reservations


The Group ProForma Invoice now shows 0.00 rate reservations. When complimentary stays are added to the group, they will now be displayed on the Group ProForma Invoice, but they will have no financial impact on the invoice totals. 


Automatically Post Applicable Charges When Reservation Is Shortened To Day Use


When a reservation is shortened from Nightly to Day Use, the PMS will invoke Day Use logic and automatically post any applicable charges (e.g., room, tax, add-ons) to the Guest Bill. 






Please note, if an add-on has an allowance set to “Consume Next Day,” the add-on allowance will NOT be consumed, but the actual add-on will be posted to the Guest Bill regardless of whether “Consume Next Day” is selected. In the event that the reservation is extended once applicable charges have already been posted to the Guest Bill, applicable charges should not be posted again during the night audit.

Multi-Property Dashboard


Chain Admin users will now be directed to a new dashboard after login based on existing user configuration. When a user is identified as a Chain Admin user, instead of redirecting the user to the dashboard of the default hotel configured for the user, the user will be redirected to the new Multi-Property dashboard.



Non-Chain Admin users will not be affected by this change and will continue to be directed to the dashboard of the default hotel configured for the user. 


Furthermore, please note, this functionality must be enabled by Stayntouch Admin, so please contact Customer Support to have this enabled for your hotel.


Stayntouch Admin users can now upload a chain logo to display on the new Multi-Property dashboard. The chain logo will display on the new Multi-Property dashboard according to the chain the Chain Admin user logging into the system belongs to. This logo can be uploaded, changed, or removed as desired. Please contact Customer Support to have a chain logo uploaded.


Multi-Property Dashboard: Header


The new Multi-Property dashboard header will show the following:

  • Chain Name (if no logo is present) or Logo (top left)
  • First and Last Name Initials of Logged In User (top right)
  • Day of the Week and Date
  • Multi-Property Dashboard (screen name)


Multi-Property Dashboard: Property Tiles


On the new Multi-Property dashboard, you will notice property tiles for each property within a chain. Property tiles will appear as follows:

  • Hotel Color: Displayed as a line on the top of the tile. This will show the color configured in hotel setup.
  • Hotel Name: Display the name from hotel setup.
  • City, Country: Display the hotel city and country from hotel setup.
  • Occupancy Percentage: Display tonight’s occupancy percentage for the hotel.
  • Yesterday: Display yesterday’s occupancy percentage for the hotel.
  • Tomorrow: Display tomorrow’s occupancy percentage for the hotel.
  • Rooms: Display total number of rooms the hotel is licensed for.
  • BAR (Best Available Rate): Display the currency for which the rate is configured (currency code and price; no conversion). This rate will mirror the rate that is configured to show in the Availability screen of the hotel.



Please note, a maximum of nine property tiles can display per page. Pagination will be in place if there are more than nine properties.


Multi-Property Dashboard: Search Functionality


On the Multi-Property dashboard, Chain Admin users can search and filter displayed properties. At the top of the screen, you’ll see a search bar where Chain Admin users can search by property name, property city, and property country. The standard automatic three letter search will apply after a minimum of three characters have been entered. This will return all properties that match the search criteria.






You’ll also see a PROPERTY GROUP dropdown menu to filter by property group, which will show all property groups configured for the chain. When a property group is selected (single select only), the properties belonging to the selected property group will be displayed. Furthermore, you’ll have the option to select Any property group or No property group. Selecting Any property group will list all properties regardless of the property group (which will act like a “none selected”). Selecting No property group will list all properties that do not belong to a configured property group.




You’ll also notice a SORTED BY dropdown menu, which will display the following options to sort properties by:

  • Property Name A-Z (alphabetically ascending)
  • Property Name Z-A (alphabetically descending)
  • Occupancy ASC (occupancy ascending)
  • Occupancy DESC (occupancy descending)
  • BAR ASC (Best Available Rate ascending)



Multi-Property Dashboard: Auto Logout Setting


We’ve implemented an auto logout setting in Stayntouch Admin for the Multi-Property dashboard, which will log Chain Admin users out after a specified number of minutes. Please contact Customer Support to set an auto logout time for the Multi-Property dashboard.


View Summary Statistics by Chain or Property Group


You can now view SUMMARY statistics by chain or property group from the Statistics tab of the Guest Card and Company/Travel Agent Card. The following statistics can be viewed by chain or property group:

  • Stays
  • Nights
  • Cancellations
  • No Shows
  • Average Daily Rate (ADR)
  • Room Revenue
  • Total Revenue

Please note, pagination is in place for these statistics.

Pagination for Multi-Property Guest Card Statistics


We’ve added pagination for Multi-Property Guest Card statistics (Guest Card > Statistics Tab). The statistics on the Guest Card will show a maximum of 10 hotels. Pagination will allow you to click through additional hotels (beyond 10). This functionality applies to the expanded details for STAYS, NIGHTS, CANCELLATIONS, NO SHOWS, ADR, ROOM REVENUE, and TOTAL REVENUE on the left hand column of the Statistics tab.
