PRODUCT ENHANCEMENTS

Group Rooms Report Exportable Via CSV


When the Group Rooms Report is generated from Reports > New Report > Group Rooms Report, it can now be exported via CSV from Reports > Reports Inbox.





Group Rooms Report Added to Scheduled Reports


The Group Rooms Report can now be scheduled from Reports > Schedule a Report/Export > Scheduled Reports > + NEW REPORT SCHEDULE. From the Schedule Parameters column, you’ll see the option to select a FILE FORMAT of CSV. When CSV is selected, you can then choose to select INCLUDE CSV HEADER. 


Group Cancellation Popup Text Updated


Previously, when a user cancelled a group block that had reservations attached, they received a popup indicating that a specific number of room nights would be cancelled. We have now updated this popup to indicate the number of reservations that will be cancelled when the group block is cancelled.


Arrival/Departure Time Updates When Reinstating a No Show Reservation


The arrival and departure time can now be updated when reinstating a no show reservation. From the stay card, click REINSTATE RESERVATION, at which point, you will be prompted to select a new room/rate. Then, click Show Restrictions and select a new room/rate. You’ll then be required to change the arrival and departure time and click CONTINUE. The new arrival and departure time will then be reflected on the stay card.







Budgets: Scroll Bar


From Financials > Budgets, the scroll bar has now been made more visible, so it’s easily noticeable when you need to scroll through budget information. This applies to all screens where scrolling is required within the Budgets module.





Availability Screen: Date Row Freezes In Place


Upon navigating to the Availability screen, you’ll notice a date row on the screens for Availability, Item Inventory, Groups, and Allotments (which can be accessed from the dropdown at the top left of the Availability screen). This date row now freezes in place, so you can see it regardless of how far you scroll down the Availability, Item Inventory, Groups, and Allotments screens.

Assign Chain Admin & Multi-Property Users A Default Property Group


You can now assign a DEFAULT PROPERTY GROUP to a Chain Admin or Multi-Property user from Settings > Hotel & Staff > User Setup > ALL USERS. The DEFAULT PROPERTY GROUP field will not be mandatory at time of user creation, and if left unselected, it will be left blank until one is selected. For existing users, a DEFAULT PROPERTY GROUP will not automatically be applied to the user—it will be left blank until a property group is selected.


Please note, the property groups displayed in the DEFAULT PROPERTY GROUP field will display in order of creation.





Availability Screen: Filter by Individual Hotel, Hotels in Chain, or Property Group


When you pull up the Availability screen, the screen defaults to the current hotel. However, now, you’ll also see a new dropdown option, which allows users to choose between Show this hotel, All hotels in chain, or an individual property group to view. Please note, this is based on permissions and subscribed hotels.


Items to Note:

  • The same parameters (i.e., date and next 7, 14, and 30 days) will be available for selection for each of these options. 
  • The print button will not be visible when All hotels in chain or a property group are selected.
  • Upon selecting All hotels in chain or a property group, all related hotels that the user is subscribed to will display in alphabetical order. You’ll also notice pagination in place if there are more than nine hotels in the chain or property group.
  • Users can only view hotels to which they are subscribed. If a user is not a Multi-Property user but is subscribed to five hotels, when they select All hotels in chain, it will show five hotels even if the chain has ten hotels.
  • Hotel information (BAR, occupancy, and available rooms) are accurate based on the date selected in the header.
  • Hotels are displayed with the color assigned to the hotel from Hotel Admin settings.
  • The default date is the same as the current date of the hotel selected.
