We'd like to call out a very exciting new item that has been long-awaited and will make many of our customers happy:

  • Take control of your bookings! Multi-Property users can now create cancellation policy templates. Tailor policies to match your business strategy and keep cancellations stress-free!
  • Seamless tax management across all your properties! Multi-property users can now configure tax charge codes effortlessly, ensuring compliance and consistency while saving time. Simplify your financial operations and stay tax-ready with ease!

Reservations

 

1. Copy Reservation: Copy Party To New Reservation If Dates Overlap


If a reservation is attached to a party and is copied, the following apply:

  • If the new reservation dates touch the party dates, the party is attached to the new reservation.
  • If the new reservation dates do not touch the party dates, the party is not attached to the new reservation.
  • If the new reservation dates touch the party dates, and the arrival or departure date is outside the arrival or departure date of the party, the party dates are updated.

Legal Requirements


Due to new legal requirements in Türkiye, guests that are not of Turkish nationality need to have passport number printed on the final guest invoice. Stayntouch PMS will now print the passport number of all foreign nationals that check out from hotels in Türkiye when SHOW PASSPORT/ID NUMBER is enabled from Settings > Hotel & Staff > Stationery > Invoices > General Invoice Settings. Payments

3. Adyen: Allow Refund Via Terminal For Interac Transactions


Hotels using Interac payments can now select an existing Interac sale transaction on the Guest Bill, so that you can initiate a refund using the purple pencil icon. This will trigger the EMV device with the refund amount, initiate a POS unreferenced refund request on the backend, and trigger the defaulted terminal. Please note, the Make Unreferenced Refund permission must be assigned to the user that initiates this refund from Settings > Hotel & Staff > Permissions.

 

Stayntouch Guest Kiosk

4. Stayntouch Guest Kiosk: Suppressed Rate Amount Not Included In Subtotal


Rates that have been configured as “suppressed” in Stayntouch PMS will be hidden in the subtotal during Stayntouch Guest Kiosk check-in, per expected functionality. This enhancement is to address the scenario where guests could see the subtotal during Stayntouch Guest Kiosk check-in, even when the rate was marked as “suppressed.”

 

Integrations

5. Connect APIs Enhancement: Blocking Emails With Unsupported Characters


Stayntouch Connect APIs now block emails with unsupported characters from being added to Stayntouch PMS. Requests with such emails will receive the warning, “Unsupported characters detected. This email address will not be added to the PMS.” This will better encourage the hotel to collect a corrected email during check-in/out. Please note, we support ASCII characters: uppercase and lowercase Latin letters A to Z and a to z.

6. Connect APIs Enhancement: Bills Array In GET/Reservations APIs


We’ve enhanced the following endpoints to include entity details for each bill, helping partners identify who is settling a bill and retrieve further information if needed:

  • GET/reservations
  • GET/reservations/{id}
  • GET/reservations/due_in
  • GET/reservations/checked_in

 

New objects:

  • entity_id (integer): Unique entity profile ID.
  • entity_type (enum: GUEST, COMPANY, TRAVELAGENT): Bill entity type.
  • entity_name (string): Entity name.

7. Connect APIs Enhancement: Language Code For Confirmation & Cancellation Letters


The following APIs will now use the language_code from the guest card:

  • POST/reservations/{id}/confirm_letter
  • POST/reservations/{id}/cancel_letter

 

If no language_code is set, the system defaults to the hotel’s PMS language.

8. Comtrol: Account Number Range Update


For hotels using Comtrol, the account number range for room number DFID 175 has been updated. UHLL 37 and 61 now support up to a 9-digit account number.

 

Multi-Property Functionality

9. Multi-Property Configuration: Cancellation Policies


Multi-Property users can configure cancellation policies from Configuration > Rates > Rules > Cancellations by selecting Create template. Learn more here.



10. Multi-Property Configuration: Add Tax Amount To Tax Configuration With Editable In PMS Tickbox


You can now configure Multi-Property tax charge codes from Configuration > Financials > Charge Codes by selecting Create template. When selecting TAX as the Charge Code Type, you’ll notice the following additional fields:

  • Amount: Tax amount (+ numerical value)
  • %/$: Select either % or Hotel Currency
  • Amount Type: Select either ADULT, CHILD, FLAT, PERSON, or ROOM. FLAT is selected by default.
  • Post Type: Select either NIGHT or STAY. NIGHT is selected by default.
  • Editable in PMS: Select this checkbox to allow property to set their own amount. If this is selected, the property can update the tax Amount, +, and %/$ fields in the PMS. Moreover, if the property merges the Multi-Property tax charge code with an existing tax charge code, the existing tax amount remains.

In Pilot

11. New Integration: Demand360


You can now configure the Demand360 direct integration with Stayntouch PMS from Settings > Integrations > BI. From here, Hotel Admin users can activate or deactivate the integration.

 

Demand360 is a business intelligence tool in which hotels can compare their rooms sold and revenue to their competitive-set. They can do so across their channels and market segmentation.

 

What Demand360 offers hotels:

  • Gain demand and rate insights from 44,000+ hotels
  • View 12 months of forward-looking rate and demand data
  • See short-term rental trends with data from 35 million properties

 

This integration sends new and modified reservations, groups, and stay data after check-out to Demand360.

 

Resync options are also available:

  • When future dates are selected, RESERVATION and GROUP can be selected.
  • When historical dates are selected, RESERVATION, GROUP, and STAYS can be selected.


 

 

 

 

12. Demand360 OTA_HotelResNotifRQ: Trigger New, Modify, & Cancel Reservations


For hotels with a Demand360 integration, we’ve added a OTA_HotelResNotifRQ parameter, which will trigger a message to Demand360 when a reservation is created, modified, or cancelled.

13. Demand360 OTA_HotelInvBlockNotifRQ: Trigger New, Modify, & Cancel Groups

 

For hotels with a Demand360 integration, we’ve added a OTA_HotelInvBlockNotifRQ parameter, which will trigger a message to Demand360 when a group is created, modified, or cancelled.

14. Demand360 OTA_HotelStayInfoNotifRQ: Send Stay Records After Check Out


Once reservation is checked out, Stayntouch PMS will now send an OTA_HotelStayInfoNotifRQ message to Demand360.
