ⓘ We'd like to call out a very exciting new item that has been long-awaited and will make many of our customers happy:

  • Multi-Property users can now search for past, present, and future reservations across all hotels in a chain from the new Reservations tab!
  • Hotels using an OTA CRS/RMS now have the option to sync an entire year at once, rather than selecting month by month!

Rates

1. Limit Based On Rates (Coming Soon)


To ensure performance isn’t impacted by too many child rates, users will not be able to create more than the set threshold of rates based on a single rate. If a user attempts to create more than the threshold of rates based on a single parent rate, they will get the message, “Unable to Create Rate. Maximum Based On Rates Exist.” Users can create unlimited “Copy From” rates. Learn more here.

 

Multi-Property Functionality


Multi-Property users can now search for past, present, and future reservations across all hotels in a chain from the new Reservations tab. The following parameters apply:

  • Users can search by name, email, and confirmation number.
  • Users can search by “Starts with” and “Contains”.
  • Users can filter based on reservation status.
  • Users can select individual hotels to search across.

 

When you click on a reservation, you navigate into the property of that reservation. Moreover, based on your user permissions, you may be able to edit the reservation.

 

Note: When logged in as a service provider user, when clicking on the Reservations tab, the user must select the chain where they wish to search for the reservation.

3. Multi-Property Configuration: Deposit Policies


You can configure Multi-Property deposit policy templates from Configuration > Rates > Rules > Deposits by clicking the Create template button. Learn more here.

 

 

4. Multi-Property Configuration: Restrictions


You can enable Multi-Property restrictions from Configuration > Rates > Restrictions by toggling on the necessary restrictions. Please note, restrictions are system-defined. Learn more here.

 

 

Integrations

5. Pegasus: New Sync Restrictions


From Settings > Integrations > Central Reservation System > Pegasus, you can now select from two options for the type of restrictions to send:

  • HIERARCHICAL RESTRICTION: If this is selected, only hierarchy restrictions will be sent. 
  • RESTRICTION: If this is selected, only rate/room restrictions will be sent.

 

Pegasus does not fully support hierarchy restrictions, so this might be useful for hotels using a combination of hierarchy and non-hierarchy restrictions. Learn more here.

 

6. OTA CRS & RMS: Sync Full Year


Hotels using an OTA CRS/RMS now have the option to sync an entire year at once, rather than selecting month by month. However, sync history data will still be processed in 30-day batches, covering all message types. As before, users must wait 180 minutes before resending a sync for the same dates. Learn more here.
