Stayntouch Guest Kiosk Walk-In Reservations


To allow for walk-in reservations via Stayntouch Guest Kiosk, navigate to Settings > Station > Walk-In Reservations.



Walk-in reservations is a specific feature that is available if you have to have ID scanning and facial recognition active. If this feature is active on your account, you will be able to activate walk-in reservations by turning ON the ACTIVE toggle from Settings > Station > Walk-In Reservations. This will allow guests to walk in and create a reservation via Stayntouch Guest Kiosk if they don't already have a reservation.



From WALK-IN FLOW, you can choose from one of the following flows: 

  • Traditional: This has an option for guests to select which room they would like.
  • Upsell oriented: This will present guests with a standard room selected by the hotel, and it will allow them to upgrade their room during the check-in process.



You'll also see some options for WALK-IN RATE CODE, WALK-IN ORIGIN, WALK-IN SOURCE, and WALK-IN MARKET on the right side of the screen. These are explained below:

  • WALK-IN RATE CODE: This will be the standard rate applied to the guest walk-in reservation.
  • WALK-IN ORIGIN: This is the origin of the walk-in reservation. You can set up origins when you configure demographics.
  • WALK-IN SOURCE: This is the source of the walk-in reservation. You can set up sources when you configure demographics.
  • WALK-IN MARKET: This is the market of the walk-in reservation. You can set up markets when you configure demographics.



When you're done applying these settings, be sure to click SAVE CHANGES.
