Housekeeping Task Assignment: Display Room Type Above Room Number for Each Task
Stayntouch PMS now displays room type above room number for each task on the Housekeeping > Task Management > MANAGE WORK SHEETS screen and task sheet printout.

Events Displayed on Availability Screen
Events configured from Revenue Management > Events now display on the Availability screen. The configured events will display on the Availability screen for the dates the event was scheduled. If there is an event for a date currently shown on the Availability screen, Stayntouch PMS will display a number icon on the dates applicable, and upon clicking the number icon, Stayntouch PMS will show the events for that date.
Events Display in Room Diary
Events configured from Revenue Management > Events now display in Front Desk > Room Diary. The configured events will display in the Room Diary for the dates the event was scheduled. If there is an event for a date currently shown in the Room Diary, Stayntouch PMS will display a number icon on the dates applicable, and upon clicking the number icon, Stayntouch PMS will show the events for that date. Please note, events will display differently in the D Diary and N Diary views.

Events Display in Group Room Block Details Tab
Events configured from Revenue Management > Events now display in Groups > Manage Groups > Select Group > Room Block Details Tab. The configured events will display in the Room Block Details tab for the dates the event was scheduled. Events configured from Revenue Management > Events now display in Groups > Manage Allotment > Select Allotment > Allotment Details Tab. The configured events will display in the Allotment Details tab for the dates the event was scheduled. If there is an event for a date currently shown in the Allotment Details tab, Stayntouch PMS will display a number icon on the dates applicable, and upon clicking the number icon, Stayntouch PMS will show the events for that date.
Charge Deposit Due Upon Reservation Creation
In order to comply with PSD2 requirements in Europe and adhere to the requirement for each credit card payment to be supported by a secondary authorization by the holder, Stayntouch has changed deposit due handling upon reservation creation.
If you navigate to Rates > Rules & Restrictions > Deposit Requests > + Add new rule > DAYS IN ADVANCE > Select At Booking, you’ll now see an option to select Instant Payment. Please note, by default Deposit Requests will be toggled OFF.
Please note, manual booking deposit collection flow remains as per the existing functionality.
Upon reservation creation, Stayntouch PMS will check if a deposit is due, and if a credit card is attached to the reservation, Stayntouch PMS will charge the card. All charges issued to the credit card will be recorded in the Activity Log of the stay card.
Such transactions are also recorded in Financials > CC Transactions and reflect as Approved or Declined.
Daily Rates for Group Rate Codes
We have updated our outgoing group messages to CRS vendors with whom we have group support (i.e., Synxis, TravelClick iHotelier, SHR Windsurfer). When using a rate code as a part of the group block as opposed to the custom rate option, we now send the rate configured or managed for each date, not just the first night's rate.
There are no changes the hotel or Stayntouch Customer Support needs to make to support this update.
Stayntouch Guest Mobility: Translations Master File for German Language
We have added a German translation master file, so hotels using German as their default or optional language do not need to manually enter the translations, and Stayntouch PMS will pull the tags by default.

Guest Mobility Design Setup
You can now customize your hotel’s Stayntouch Guest Mobility templates from Settings > Guest Mobility > Guest Mobility Design Setup. For further information about Guest Mobility Design Setup, see this article.
