How to Add Demographics to a Reservation

To add demographics to a reservation in Stayntouch Cloud PMS, first proceed with creating a reservation as usual. In this example, we're selecting Standard Daily Rate, for which the segmentation may not be defaulted on the rate code itself, and for which we would have to choose demographics. 


Next, from the Guest Details & Payment screen, you can select the DEMOGRAPHICS button to enter the demographics yourself without being prompted. The list of demographics for this property may be different than the ones at your property, and there may be more options for your property than are shown here. This depends on how you've configured your demographics.

Once you have entered the demographics, you can proceed with entering the guest's payment information.

Upon confirming the reservation, you can then create a second reservation for the guest by clicking the NEW RESERVATION FOR GUEST button.

Instead of selecting the demographics, wait for Stayntouch Cloud PMS to prompt you for the mandatory demographics, which are defined as required in this example. 

Moving to the Guest Details & Payment screen, if you input the payment method and select CONTINUE, Stayntouch Cloud PMS will then prompt you to enter the mandatory demographics. Once you enter the demographics, click SAVE & CONTINUE and then CONFIRM RESERVATION. Not all of the demographic information may be mandatory, however, and you can review these fields within the stay card by selecting GO TO STAY CARD.

Under the ADDITIONAL DETAILS section, you can view and edit demographics data as desired.
