How to Manage Early Departures
To process an early departure in Stayntouch PMS, search for the relevant reservation record and enter the stay card for that reservation. Using the CHECK OUT button, you can proceed to the Guest Bill screen.
To charge the guest for the early departure, you can do so by selecting the ADD CHARGE button. A window will then appear, and you can search for the relevant charge code, in this case Room Charge. You can search either by the name or code. You can also enter a REFERENCE & DESCRIPTION if desired.
If you're unsure of how much you should be charging the guest, you can find this by selecting the rate value as illustrated below.
To proceed with checking out, select REVIEW BILL 1 AND COMPLETE CHECK-OUT, at which point the guest has checked out successfully.
