Akia.ai Guest Communication

Akia.ai offers a guest messaging and information platform to help hotels drive direct bookings and other items. Stayntouch needs to provide them with OAuth keys and set up webhooks for the hotel.

Please set up the following generic webhooks in Settings > Chain > Webhooks to the unique chain endpoint provided by the Akia team.

NOTE: We recommend hotels have the Akia integration in place prior to reservation migration to avoid Akia not having the right reservation data and needing to manually update with an export.

Akia may also ask for historical reservation data, which they use to power some of their marketing options.

To provide this to the Akia Support team, please access the respective property on Stayntouch PMS, navigate to Reports > Schedule a Report/Export > Custom Exports > + NEW EXPORT.

From there, create a RUN ONCE report with the following fields in this order:

First Name
Last Name
Email
Phone Number
Stay Dates
Reservation Status
Confirmation Number
Reservation ID
Room Number
Room Type
Rate Code
Booking Source
Number of Adults
Number of Children
Group Name
Market Segment Code
VIP Status

You'll set the Filter to Duration/Date Range and select the historical range being requested. Enter your email address as the recipient. Once received, you can forward it back to help@akia.com and note the property.

The name of the export is not critical; however, Akia suggests naming the export "Akia Historical Upload" and selecting the INCLUDE CSV HEADER checkbox.
