Epson TM10 Printer Failing to Print from Stayntouch Guest Kiosk


If an Epson TM10 printer is not printing from a Stayntouch Guest Kiosk iPad, follow the steps below:

  1. Reset the iPad to factory settings.
  2. Update the firmware of the Epson TM10 to the latest version (version 1.74). To do so, install the “Epson TM Utility” app on the iPad, pair it with the printer, update the firmware on the printer, and then download and install the firmware.

Please note, printer selection is not related to the Receipt Printing feature but to Station Printer OptionsReceipt and Registration Card and Auto Print do matter. We can enable a diagnostics mode in Stayntouch Guest Kiosk (steps explained here) and complete a test print from the Stayntouch Guest Kiosk admin screen by selecting the Print Sample Registration Card button.
