Matching Revenue for Individuals and Groups

Whenever you attempt to match revenue concerning individuals and groups for a past date, a good report to confirm the figures is the Business on the Books Report. The Business on the Books Report gives a total of individuals and groups as well as the grand total. Further, the Business on the Books Report should also match the Daily Production Reports.

When comparing the Forecast Guests & Groups Report with the Daily Production Report, first confirm the Forecast Guests & Groups Report matches the Business on the Books Report. Both the Forecast Guests & Groups Report as well as the Business on the Books Report separate the data into individual guests and groups. If these two reports match, then they should match with the Production Reports.

Please note, the Business on the Books Report and the Forecast Guests & Groups Report include NO SHOW and CANCELLED reservations by default, and there is no way exclude them. The Daily Production Reports, on the other hand, do not include the NO SHOW and CANCELLED reservations by default. There is, however, a report filter available to include them. If you run the Production Report by including the NO SHOW and CANCELLED reservations, they should match the Business on the Books Report, which in turn matches the Forecast Guests & Groups Report.

As per this logic, you will see below that the three reports match.
