Room Revenue Functionality of the Comparison, Daily Production by Demographics, and Business on the Books Reports


  • The Comparison Report matches with the Business on the Books Report; however, it will never match the Daily Production by Demographics Report.
  • Room Revenue in the Comparison Report is from Charge Groups.
  • Room Revenue in all Daily Production Reports and the Business on the Books Report is from charge codes with a Charge Code Type of ROOM.
  • Tax charge codes do not have Charge Code Type of ROOM; therefore, the Daily Production Report does not include taxes.
  • By default, cancelled and no show reservations are not included in the Daily Production by Demographics Report, but they are included on the Business on the Books Report.
  • If you run the Daily Production by Demographics Report by choosing to include both no show and cancelled reservations, the total Room Revenue will match with the Business on the Books Report MTD Room Revenue total.
