Stayntouch PMS Business on the Books Report vs. the Daily Production by Demographics Report
Depending on the situation, there is sometimes a slight difference in Room Revenue between the Business on the Books Report and the Daily Production by Demographics Report, which is usually related to NO SHOW and CANCELLED reservations.
BUSINESS ON THE BOOKS REPORT
In this report, there is not an option to select or not select NO SHOW/CANCELLED reservations, and by default, the report includes NO SHOW and CANCELLED reservations.
DAILY PRODUCTION BY DEMOGRAPHICS REPORT
In this report, there is an option to include NO SHOW and CANCELLED reservations, and the default option is to exclude NO SHOW and CANCELLED reservations. Therefore, when you run the Daily Production by Demographics Report and do not specifically select the two checkboxes INCLUDE NO SHOW and INCLUDE CANCELLED, then it runs excluding the NO SHOW and CANCELLED reservations. This is what causes the variation in Room Revenue between the two reports. If you select these two checkboxes when running the Daily Production by Demographics Report, it will then match with the Business on the Books Report.
