Difference in Room Revenue Between House Status and the Comparison Report

Please see the below explanation for the difference in the room revenue between House Status and the Comparison Report.

House Status

House Status shows the room revenue corresponding to the nightly rate of all the stayover reservations for the requested night (rates are net, excluding add-ons). To access, follow the steps below.

1. Click the statistics graph symbol at the top right corner of the dashboard.

2. Select House Status from the dropdown menu.

3. Then House Status will display (data for today +/- 1 day).

In the screenshot below, you'll notice that for February 20, there was one no-show reservation for which the nightly rate needs to be ignored when viewing the House Status. This is because for this reservation, the room charge was only posted on the next business day.

You can verify this when running the Reservations By User By Date Range Report, filtering on reservations that stayed for the requested night and summing the nightly rate for February 20, which you will see in the stay card upon clicking BILL & CHARGES.

Comparison Report

The Comparison Report shows the total room revenue that was actually posted on February 20, including all adjustments, manual postings, postings on accounts, etc.

To verify the total revenue sum, you can use the Journal, which reflects the amount of €11,510.28 (excluding €66.04 revenue from Room Upsell, which you'll notice in the screenshot above) and therefore corresponds to the Comparison Report. By clicking on the orange chevron arrow on the right, you can open the detailed list of all charges posted. Please see the screenshot below.

In case you need to print this list, please note that at the moment it must be printed page by page. In the future, it will be possible to print all pages at once. See the screenshot below.
