Ability to scan document / upload document to reservation and or guest card
This would be very helpful as soon as possible- the tax exempt description that was just added is nice but to have an image of the exempt form would be best then when being audited we can go right to the reservation -

Step one - manual upload has been completed with upcoming release. For the next couple of releases we are working on ID scan from the PMS & Zest.

Just for clarity, ID scanning is being worked on. Scanning of any [type of] document to attach to stay or guest card is not currently on the backlog. We understand the request, and like the idea. It is nearly impossible to gauge the space requirements for retention of the documents, so there is some feasibility research to be made. Unlike with a locally hosted system, the hotel owned server capacity is no longer the only consideration to be made.
Once ID scan is released and widely in use, we would then need to have some form of statistics to gauge the level of need, and with that additional storage requirements.
Hope this clarifies current effort.
What if we could house the documents in a onedrive or dropbox somehow
Excellent suggestion. It will require a little creative linkage integration, but I think this is entirely doable.
We need the ability to upload pdfs to a guest's staycard. Our previous cloud based system was able to handle this no problem.
Is there any update on the creative linkage integration that was mentioned before? This would be a great feature indeed.

I see the status says implemented. Is there now a way to upload a document to a staycard? If so, how do we do it?

Would be great to have an area within the reservation to scan documents such as IDs, tax exempt forms, purchase orders etc. Add a button where a document can be scanned into the reservation with the option to upload to the guest card or just "this" reservation.
This would be extremely helpful when being audited by state/local taxes as the information would all be in one area - reduces the lost exempt forms etc.
