[NEW!] Stayntouch Rate Strategy: Targeted Restrictions for Child Rates Only

You can now fine-tune rate controls with a new option that applies restrictions exclusively to child (“based on”) rates via Stayntouch Rate Strategy—keeping parent rates open and selling, even as demand shifts.

With the new APPLY RESTRICTIONS TO “BASED ON” RATES ONLY setting—available when AND INCLUDE “BASED ON” RATES is enabled—child rates will continue to follow their pricing strategy as occupancy changes, but will close independently when thresholds are met, leaving the parent rate unaffected.

This enhancement gives you more control, maximizes revenue opportunities, and ensures discounted or derived rates close out first while your primary rate remains available.

How It Works

• When both APPLY RESTRICTIONS TO APPLICABLE “BASED ON” RATES and APPLY RESTRICTIONS TO “BASED ON” RATES ONLY are enabled:
  • Child rates close when a threshold is met, while parent rates stay open.
  • When the threshold is no longer met, child rates automatically reopen.
• When APPLY RESTRICTIONS TO APPLICABLE “BASED ON” RATES is enabled but APPLY RESTRICTIONS TO “BASED ON” RATES ONLY is disabled:
  • All rates—parent and child—receive the restrictions.
• When APPLY RESTRICTIONS TO APPLICABLE “BASED ON” RATES is disabled:
  • The new APPLY RESTRICTIONS TO “BASED ON” RATES ONLY option is hidden.
