[NEW!] Custom Payment Link On Reservations & Accounts (Stayntouch Pay/Adyen Only)

You can now generate payment links for individual reservations and house and group accounts. The payment link now allows for Stayntouch PMS users to add a “free form” amount followed by a payment link. By expanding payment link capabilities, we enable hotels to offer contactless payment options across all guest interaction scenarios, reducing friction in the payment process and improving operational efficiency.

Items to Note:

At this stage, the custom payment link functionality is only available for hotels using Stayntouch Pay/Adyen.
Please contact Customer Support to have this enabled for your property.

This enhancement extends the existing payment link functionality by adding generation capabilities in three key areas:

Individual Reservation Payment Links: PMS users can generate custom payment links directly from guest reservations, allowing for flexible payment collection with custom amounts.
House/Group Account Payment Links: Staff can create payment links for house and group accounts, enabling payment collection for group bookings and corporate accounts.

The solution builds upon the existing payment infrastructure while adding new touchpoints for payment link generation across the PMS interface.

CONFIGURATION & IMPLEMENTATION

Payment Link Activation:

Properties need to be using Stayntouch Pay or Adyen.
The Use New Mobility App toggle needs to be enabled by Stayntouch Admin.

Payment Link Generation On Reservations:

Access the reservation and click on BILL & CHARGES.
You will find the PAYMENT LINK button above all bills.

Upon clicking the PAYMENT LINK button, you will be able to add the amount and generate the payment link.

When the payment link is generated, you will be able to copy the link and close the window (flow illustrated below).

Payment Link Generation On House/Group Accounts:

Access the account from Front Desk > Accounts.
You will find the PAYMENT LINK button in the Transactions tab.

After selecting the PAYMENT LINK button, enter the amount owed, and click GENERATE LINK to generate the payment link.

Once the link is generated, you can copy the payment link by clicking on COPY LINK & CLOSE WINDOW.

PMS users will be able to use/embed this link into their communication to the guest. When the link is used, the Adyen iFrame will populate.

A successful payment will be posted on the first available bill of the reservation or house/group account.
