Update A Rate Code Or Amount On An Existing Reservation
To update a rate code or amount on an existing reservation, first we will select the reservation we wish to modify.

Once we are in the stay card, we can click on the RATES & ADD-ONS section to view our options.
In the popup window, you'll see the options to APPLY CUSTOM RATE or UPDATE ROOM & RATE. Please note, these are based on your permissions, so not all options may show, depending on your user account. We will start with applying a custom rate.
Here, we see the current rate for each night. The RATE column shows the configured price point for the rate.
We can adjust the amount we wish to charge in the column with the QUOTED header, and we can push values to all nights using the downward-facing arrow.
Lastly, we will enter our adjustment reason. Here, the ADJUSTMENT REASON field is mandatory when selected by your Hotel Admin in configuration settings. We do recommend this setting be mandatory.
Please note, we now see the EDITED indicator, which shows us a change has occurred. Additionally, you will now see an update to the GUEST TO PAY amount since making the update.
Next, let's update the rate code entirely. Click on the UPDATE ROOM & RATE button.
If no available rates are displayed, toggle to RATE or ROOM TYPE to see options.
Once we find a rate we wish to use, we can select it.
Click on the BOOK button to finalize the change to the selected rate.
Click OK on the popup to acknowledge the message about add-ons being removed.
Now, we see the rate has been changed to AAA.
It's possible to have more than one rate on a reservation.
First, we can show the nightly rate by selecting the Show Stay Dates checkbox.
Click RATE to show the options by rate.
Click the BOOK button for the rate you wish to choose, selecting each night in turn.
Select the rate you want to apply.
Click the DONE button in the top right corner to finalize the change.
Click OK on the popup to acknowledge the message about rate changes and review stay enhancements.
We can confirm there is more than one rate code applied, thanks to the MULTIPLE indicator on the stay card.
