[NEW!] Support For Inntopia Commerce

We’ve added integration for Inntopia Commerce! 

Configure authentication, feature toggles, and reservation settings all in one place from Settings > Integrations > Central Reservation System > Inntopia CRS. Easily activate/inactivate the integration, sync future inventory, rates, and restrictions, and map your hotel’s standard rate to the mandatory BAR/RACK code. Please note, Inntopia needs one base rate with all room types to be able to sell the room types.

This integration is available in the United States and Canada. 

Supported Features:

• Reservations: Stayntouch PMS fetches reservation messages from Inntopia every minute. This includes new, modified, and cancelled reservations (up to 9 per call), ensuring your bookings are always up to date.
• Inventory: Room type inventory updates are sent automatically, keeping inventory updated in Inntopia. Availability is transmitted by rate code and room type, with date range support for smooth, accurate updates.
• Rates: Rates added in the Inntopia channel will be sent to Inntopia. If derived rates are used, these need to be set up in Inntopia, and these rate details are not sent to Inntopia but calculated in Inntopia.  

• Restrictions: The following restrictions are supported in Inntopia and need to be set up in Stayntouch PMS in Product level (rate/room):
  • Open/Closed
  • Closed To Arrival
  • Closed To Departure
  • Minimum Length of Stay
• Deposit Payments: The integration supports fetching deposit payments and refunds from Inntopia, and these are posted to the guest bill directly.

• Inclusive Add-Ons are supported, as long as the tax setup is the same as the room revenue.

Important Note: We’d like to highlight a few important differences between the Inntopia CRS integration and other CRS integrations:

1. BAR Rate: Hotels can map any existing rate code as the BAR in the integration settings. There is no requirement to create a rate code specifically named “BAR.” This allows you to use your current rate structure while still designating a base rate for the integration.
2. Derived Rates: Rate updates are only sent to the parent rate, not to derived rates. To ensure proper functionality:
   • Derived rates must be set up in Inntopia the same way they exist in Stayntouch PMS (parent/child relationship).
   • Both parent and derived rates need to be added to the channel so that restrictions can be sent correctly.
3. Payments: Payments and refunds in Inntopia are optional and can be activated as needed. A toggle is available to enable payments. All payments are sent from Inntopia with the payment type IN, which must be mapped to a corresponding payment type in the PMS.
