
[NEW!] Merge Notes & Alerts, Likes & Preferences, & Files
You can now retain guest history more easily when merging guest cards! Notes and alerts, likes and preferences, and files will all be carried over from secondary cards to the primary card.

Notes & Alerts
- Notes & Alerts Carry Over: When a guest card is merged, all Notes and Alerts from the secondary guest card are automatically added to the primary guest card.
- Details Preserved: Each Note or Alert keeps its original date, time, user, and content.
- Reservation Visibility:
- Notes and Alerts remain unchanged for past reservations.
- Any shared Notes or Alerts will also display on active and future reservations.
- Activity Log Tracking: The merge action is recorded in the primary guest card’s Activity Log, with clear labels for transparency:

- SHARED NOTE
- CARD MERGE ALERT
- SHARED ALERT
- Multiple entries are separated with | for easy review.
Likes & Preferences
When merging guest cards, all saved likes and preferences from secondary cards are added to the primary card. Conflicts respect the primary card’s selections, and multiple-choice likes are merged seamlessly. Plus, all changes are logged in the guest card Activity Log for full transparency.
Files
You can ensure that files associated with secondary guest cards are automatically added to the primary guest card during the profile merge process. This ensures all files saved for secondary cards remain accessible with the guest’s primary profile.
- Files from the secondary guest card are saved to the primary guest card during the guest merge.
- If no folder exists for the primary guest in the configured hotel drive, a new folder is automatically created.
- Files are copied from the secondary guest card to the primary guest card within the same hotel-configured drive.
The guest card Activity Log will record the following information:
- Action: Card Merge
- Details: FILE(S) – Multiple files separated by |
- Notes: Original folders in the drive are preserved.
