Understanding Web Logins & Pre-Check-In Via Stayntouch Guest Mobility


Web logins occur when a guest accesses Stayntouch Guest Mobility (formerly known as Zest Web) to complete a pre-check-in. Stayntouch Guest Mobility is integrated with Stayntouch PMS, allowing guests to check in online before arrival, reducing front desk traffic and streamlining the check-in process. Self check-in by a guest will be recorded on the stay card Activity Log as GUEST-SELF.



When a guest logs in via Stayntouch Guest Mobility, they are able to:

  • Confirm their booking details.

  • Enter or update personal information.

  • Provide payment details.

  • Accept registration requirements.

  • Complete their pre-check-in ahead of arrival.


TRACKING PRE-CECK-IN ACTIVITY


The Log In and Out Activity By User Report (Reports > New Report) can be used to monitor these guest interactions. Specifically, the report provides:

  • A record of when the pre-check-in was completed by the guest.

  • Details on login and logout activity associated with Stayntouch Guest Mobility (recorded as WEB in the APPLICATION column).

  • Transparency for staff to track and confirm online engagement prior to arrival.
