Manage Rates From The Rate Manager


To manage rates from the Rate Manager, navigate to Revenue Management > Rate Manager.


Click on the menu icon.


Select "Revenue Management" from the sidebar menu.


Choose "Rate Manager".


In the Rate Manager, click DATE RANGE under FILTER OPTIONS.


In the Rate Manager, click "Select Date Range" in the filter options.


In the date range update modal, click SET RANGE to confirm your selection.

Under FILTER OPTIONS, it is possible to decide on the order of the rate display. This can be Lowest Rate, Highest Rate, Alphabetical A-Z, Alphabetical Z-A, or Custom Sequence.


In the filter options it is possible to decide on the order of the rate display. This can be "lowest rate", "highest rate", "alphabetical A-Z" or "Z-A, or a custom sequence.


It is possible to view rates by RATE TYPES, ROOM TYPES, or RATES.

It is possible to use FILTER INDIVIDUAL RATE(S) to find certain rates to select.

Or, simply open the dropdown by selecting Rates to view all options.

Instead of seeing all rates, you can simply select which rates you wish to make adjustments for.

They can be removed by using the X button.

Rates with a blue "B" in front are "base rates," meaning they do not have a parent rate and can be manually adjusted.

Rates that are grayed out are derived/child rates. These will follow its parent rate and cannot be adjusted.

If you try to adjust it, the system will tell you that the price cannot be adjusted for the child rate.

Click CANCEL to leave the popup window.

It is possible to adjust the rate of a base rate. By selecting the rate itself, the room types will open up. The first way to adjust a room rate is by selecting one day for a room type.

Then, select APPLY PRICE under REPEAT ON DATES.

These price changes so far have been per room type. To update all room types at the same time, use the box at the top instead.

The last way to edit rates is by using the RATE EDITOR button on the top right.

Select where you want to start editing.

Use your keyboard to navigate between the tab options.

Click OPEN KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS in the top right corner of the Rate Editor to see which keys you can use to navigate the screen.

In the keyboard shortcuts popup, the options show that the arrows can be used, as well as the tab button, the enter button, shift and enter at the same time, and lastly the ESC button to close the editor.

The editor can also be closed by selecting CLOSE EDITOR.

Once the Rate Editor is closed, the rate updates will save automatically.
