Configure Cancellation Policies


To configure cancellation policies, navigate to Settings > Rates > Rules & Restrictions.


In settings, click on "RATES."


Select "Rules & Restrictions".


By clicking the orange downward-facing arrows, you will be able to see a list of already-created cancellation policies.

Under the cancellation penalties, click + Add New Rule to create a new policy.


Under the cancellation penalties, click on "Add New Rule" to create a new policy.


Enter the REQUEST NAME of your cancellation policy.


Fill in the name of your policy.



Enter the policy DESCRIPTION.


Enter the policy description.


Select the AMOUNT TYPE; similar to deposits this can be a monetary amount, percentage, or number of nights.

Choose an option from the PER NIGHT OR STAY dropdown.


Choose an option from the Per Night or Stay dropdown menu.


Enter the number of DAYS IN ADVANCE in the corresponding field.


Enter the number of days in advance in the form field.


Set the TIME you want this policy to be enforced; this is usually the check-in time of the hotel.

Choose the minutes from the dropdown menu in the form.

Under CANCELLATION CHARGE CODE, click Select Charge Code to find your cancellation charge code.


Click on "Select Charge Code" to find your cancellation charge code.


Apply to all bookings will overwrite all other cancellation policies; we do not recommend toggling this on.

Lastly, click SAVE CHANGES to save your new cancellation policy.
