Manage Hold Statuses


To manage hold statuses, navigate to Settings > Reservations > Hold Status.


In settings, click on "Reservations."


Select "Hold Status".


Hold statuses are used to determine the status of a group in Stayntouch PMS. The statuses Cancel and Definite are system-defined.

Click + ADD NEW to create a new hold status.


Click on "Add New" to create a new hold status.


Enter the hold status name in the NAME field.


Enter the hold status name in the provided text field.


The label Take from inventory indicates whether the hold status takes from the hotel's available inventory of rooms. We always recommend enabling this.

It is also possible to make the status available only for groups or allotments by selecting Group only or Allotment only.

When you're done, click SAVE CHANGES.


In the form, click the "Save Changes" button.
