
Manage Payment Methods & Create New Payment Method
To manage payment methods, navigate to Settings > Financials > Payment Methods.
From the payment methods list, toggle ON the switch for payment methods you want to use.
If a payment method is not used by your property, you can switch it OFF.
Click + ADD NEW to create a new payment method.
Enter the payment DESCRIPTION in the provided field.
Enter the payment CODE in the designated field. This can be anything as long as it does not exist yet.
Select the reservation type from the LINKED RESERVATION TYPE dropdown.
Select the Rover Payments Only checkbox if you do not want external systems to use this payment method.
Select the Web Payments Only checkbox if this payment method should only be used for external systems.
Select the Restrict Post checkbox if you do not allow revenue postings to reservations with this payment method.
If the payment method is a credit card used in an integration with your payment gateway provider, you should select the Credit Card checkbox. This will activate the Offline option, which you should only use if you normally call the credit card organization to get an authorization number. Select the Recurring checkbox if a credit card token can be used for more than one transaction.
Click SAVE CHANGES once complete.
