Bulk Check-In


The bulk check-in functionality allows you to check in all arrivals at the same time. Please note, this is only possible for reservations that have a room assigned and haven’t been pre-checked-in or queued. The assigned rooms need to be vacant—not Out of Order or Out of Service—and clean/inspected. The bulk check-in functionality will skip the usual registration process and change all eligible reservations to checked-in status. 


To enable bulk check-in, turn ON the BULK CHECK-IN toggle from Settings > Reservations > Reservation Settings. This toggle will be OFF by default. However, the BULK CHECK-IN toggle is only available when the HOURLY RESERVATIONS toggle is turned OFF from Settings > Reservations > Reservation Settings. 



Please note, you must have the Bulk Check-In permission assigned from Settings > Hotel & Staff > Permissions to access bulk check-in.



When the BULK CHECK-IN toggle is ON, from Dashboard > ARRIVALS, you will see a BULK CHECK-IN button. Upon clicking BULK CHECK-IN, Stayntouch PMS will list all reservations available for bulk check-in along with a green CHECK IN button at the top right of the screen. Individual reservations are clickable and will direct you to the stay card. While the screen lists all of today’s arrivals the count of eligible reservations is shown on top of the screen.






Once the reservations are bulk checked in, they will move from the ARRIVALS tile to the STAYOVERS tile.




Only the following reservations can be checked in via bulk check-in:

  • Reservations that have a room assigned

  • Reservations where the assigned room is CLEAN/INSPECTED

  • Reservations where the assigned room is VACANT

  • Reservations that are NOT already pre checked in or queued

  • Reservations where the assigned room is NOT Out of Order or Out of Service


When you select the CHECK IN button, all reservations that meet the above criteria will be checked in. This action will be recorded in the stay card Activity Log.
