Manage & Merge Company & Travel Agent Cards
To manage company and travel agent card, open the menu and navigate to Revenue Management > Company & TA Cards.
In the search bar, type the name of the entity you are managing.
As there was no match for this entity, you can now click on the + ADD NEW button to create a new card.
As our example entity is not a travel agent, we will now click on COMPANY CARD to create a new company card.
When ready, you can click SAVE NEW CARD in the top right corner to save the new company card.
Next, enter a corporate ID in the CORPORATE ID field on the form for the company.
A corporate ID can often be used as an identifier by certain integrated reservation and booking engine systems. Next, click on ADD BILLING INFORMATION to see where you can default routing or billing instructions for bookings attached to the company.
For now, we'll click CANCEL to exit the billing information screen without saving changes.
Under the Wallet tab, you can save payment information, such as tokenized credit cards, to allow the company to apply as settlement as needed. Additionally, the credit card stored in the Wallet may be selected on individual reservations where the company card is attached.
Other tabs allow users to record notes and attach documents when these settings are enabled.
Notes may be posted on all reservations attached to the company, or can simply be posted on the company card for your reference.
Here, we will select "American Express Travel" from the list to view its details.
We see COMMISSION is toggled on for this card at 10%.
When you select the Commissions tab, you'll find commissionable revenue for the travel agent card.
To merge company and travel agent cards, toggle from VIEW to MERGE within Revenue Management > Company & TA Cards.
Now, you can search for the company to see if there are any duplicates.
Please note, you cannot merge a travel agent and company card, as they have many different fields; hence, they are displayed under separate lists.
To merge a card, first mark the primary card, and next, mark any cards to be merged into the primary card.
You can change the primary card on the righthand side of the screen before proceeding if you made an error.
It looks like there are no issues preventing us from merging these cards, so we are okay to proceed. If there are any errors, this is likely because the card you wish to merge into the primary card is attached to a future or in-house reservation. Switch this out to the primary, and you will be able to proceed.
Toggling back to VIEW, you can confirm there is now only one card under this entity name.
