Creating & Managing Contracts


To create a contract, first open the associated card. Click on the navigation bar to expand it.

Navigate to Revenue Management > Company & TA Cards.


Select "Revenue Management" from the navigation menu.


Choose "Company & TA Cards" from the Revenue Management dropdown.


Enter the name of the entity for which you are creating a contract in the search bar to find specific cards.

Select a card from the search results to view its details and add a contract.

Click on the Contracts tab in the navigation bar.


Click on the "Contracts" tab in the navigation bar.


It is possible to link a contract to multiple cards once created. If you wish to use an existing contract, select LINK EXISTING CONTRACT.

Here, you can search for the contract you wish to link.

To clear the search input, click the X button.

Click the CANCEL SEARCH button, to exit the search mode altogether.

Let's click the CREATE NEW CONTRACT button to add our own.

First, we give the contract a name, in the NAME field.

Next, we can add an access code in the ACCESS CODE field. This displays during a rate query to alert a user that this company has a contract.

Now, we enter a date in the START DATE field.

Set the end date to the last day the contract is in effect. If there is no fixed end date, we recommend setting this as far out as the system allows.

Other fields, such as agreed upon number of nights in the contract, as well as associating a contract owner, are not mandatory, so we will skip them for now and click the SAVE CONTRACT button to save our work so far.

Now that our contract is saved, we can link one or more rates to it, under CONTRACTED RATE. These will become the recommended rates shown when booking, so long as they are available. We recommend contract rates be associated with a contracted rate type, as this will ensure these rates are only seen when a user searches for the company. Contracted rate types are covered in configuration training videos.

Click the SAVE CHANGES button to save the updates made to the contract.
