devicethread provides smart hospitality infrastructure management and enhances the hospitality experience through its core components: SmartAccess and SmartEntertainment.


This integration can be used globally.


SmartAccess: Keyless, Contactless Access to Rooms & Amenities


Core Features:

Core Features:

  • Content Management: Easily manage and update entertainment content for guests.
  • Hardware Agnostic: Compatible with various devices and systems, ensuring flexibility in deployment.
  • SmartRemote: Replace traditional remotes with an app-free SmartRemote to access content, enhancing convenience and usability.


Features Supported By Integration:

  • Provide the guest with a Keyless, contactless access to the room and public areas.
  • Provides the guest a PIN code through email or text base message.
  • The PIN code is displayed in the UI of the PMS.
  • Manages reservations updates of name, stay dates, room
  • Engagement with the guest through the smart TV


Currently the solution does not support posting charges/transactions to the guest’s room in the PMS. This features will be supported in a second phase as well as heating managements.

  • GET/reservations – With date_filter=departure, once every 6 hours
  • POST/reservations/{id}/external_reference


GENERATING OAUTH KEYS

  • Stayntouch Implementations/CSM will generate API OAuth keys to devicethread:
    • client_id
    • client_secret
    • hotel_id
