Stayntouch PMS: User Account & Access Guidelines

Please take note of the following points for user account management and access to Stayntouch PMS. These guidelines are in place to ensure both operational efficiency and security:

1. Deactivated User Accounts: Support cannot reactivate deactivated user accounts. These accounts may have been intentionally deactivated by hotel management or an admin user. For assistance with a deactivated account, please contact your hotel admin.

2. Unlocking User Accounts: Support can assist in unlocking user accounts. Once an account is unlocked, users can reset their credentials by clicking the RESET button, as shown in the provided image.

3. Password Reset: Support can assist in resetting passwords for user accounts, enabling the system to send an automatic password reset link. However, support will not provide temporary passwords over the phone or via email.

4. Creating User Accounts: Support does not create user accounts. User accounts must be created by the property hotel admin, and the appropriate role must be assigned by your hotel admin.

5. Role Changes: Support cannot change user roles to ones that grant additional permissions. If a role with more permissions is required, please contact your hotel admin for assistance.

6. Assigning Permissions: Support does not assign permissions to roles. This task must be managed by your hotel admin to maintain proper role management.

7. Multi-Property Access: Support cannot grant multi-property access. This must be facilitated by your chain admin. If you do not have a chain admin, written permission from your management team or the general manager of the property to which access is being requested is required before access can be granted.

These guidelines are essential to ensure the security and integrity of user accounts within Stayntouch PMS. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these procedures.
