Pegasus/Cendyn CRS Integration Setup

 

TABLE OF CONTENTS

PREPARATION


1. Mapping sheet needed from Pegasus installer and the hotel.


2. Pegasus/Cendyn has a long list of tests to run, so be aware testing can take 2-5 hours depending on how the testing goes.


3. Ensure the property is in LIVE mode from Stayntouch Admin.

  • Login to Stayntouch Admin and ensure the property status is LIVE.


 

4. Activate the appropriate hierarchy restrictions in Stayntouch Admin.



5. In Stayntouch Admin, navigate to the Configuration tab, Features, and click on Enable or disable features.



6. Scroll down to Hierarchy Restrictions and ensure that Rate Type and Room Type are enabled for the property.


CONFIGURATION IN STAYNTOUCH PMS


1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Central Reservation Systems > Pegasus.


2. Enter the credentials from the mapping sheet.


3. Under Input Settings select a FIXME or BAR rate code as the default. 



4. Confirm Room Type Codes match in the PMS and CRS by referencing mapping sheet.


5. Navigate to Integrations > Utilities > External Mappings > Pegasus.

  • Map credit card codes. These are the same for all Pegasus integrations.


  • Map Source of Business. These are generally the same for all; although, the Stayntouch source name may vary.




    • Map add-ons if applicable.


6. Navigate to Settings > Rates > Channel Manager > Pegasus.


TESTING


1. Connect with the Cendyn installer on Skype.  


2. They will likely share a week date range to test. If not, we recommend choosing something 6-12 months out.


3. Begin by sending a week of rates.



4. They will review logs on their end and confirm if all good.  

  • If there are errors, they are usually related to room types that are not applicable to rate plans, or codes being off. Adjust as needed and send another week.


5. Send INVENTORY for that same week.



6. Navigate to Revenue Management > Rate Manager. Select the date range of the week that rates and inventory were sent.


7. The installer will give a breakdown of what restrictions should be set for the week, usually testing all of them on both the House and Rate Level.  

  • Min and Max LOS on rate plans may not be able to set on all rates if these are already configured on the rate plan itself, so set on one rate to test. Examples below:





8. They will confirm when received and then can be removed from the PMS.


9. Make a test reservation in the PMS. Share the CRS number with the installer to confirm details match.



  • The installer will modify the reservation by changing dates, rates, guests, and/or room type, etc. Confirm in the PMS that the details match.
  • If taxes are off, Stayntouch will need to confirm with the property they are set up to match in each system. 
  • Once all is matching and received, cancel the test reservation.


10. Next, navigate to Groups > New Group and create a test group.



  • Add at least one room type and set aside some inventory.
  • Share the group code, dates, and number of rooms with the installer to confirm everything is received on their end.


11. The installer will make a test reservation in the group and confirm the details.


12. Then modify the test group reservation for the installer to confirm on their end.


13. Once confirmed, they will cancel the test reservation. Then can cancel the group in the PMS.


14. Full ARI Sync

  • Back in the integration settings, check all of the boxes and SYNC one month at a time 1 year out.
