SALTO Mobile/JustIN Mobile App Integration
Once the JustIN Mobile App has been purchased via SALTO, you can follow the below steps to enable the integration with Stayntouch PMS.
ROOM KEY DELIVERY SETUP
- Navigate to Settings > Rooms > Room Key Delivery > Station Check-Ins and select Offer Mobile Phone Key - 3rd Party.
MOBILE NUMBER FORMAT (IMPORTANT)
- SALTO requires the mobile number to be in the format “+coutrycodemobilenumber”—no spaces allowed (e.g., “+1222333333”)
SEND MOBILE KEY FROM STAYNTOUCH PMS
SEND MOBILE KEY FROM STAYNTOUCH GUEST KIOSK
- The guest gets to choose how to receive the key.
- The guest will receive a "SUCCESS!" message when the mobile key is sent.
- The Activity Log will show that the key was generated by GUEST-SELF (i.e., Stayntouch Guest Kiosk).
SEND MOBILE KEY FROM STAYNTOUCH GUEST MOBILITY
- The mobile key will be delivered to the guest if there is a mobile phone number entered on the guest profile. The phone number needs to be entered in the MOBILE field and in correct format (e.g., +1222333333).
- The Activity Log will show when keys are created (both for mobile key and key card) from Stayntouch PMS, Stayntouch Guest Kiosk, and Stayntouch Guest Mobility (GUEST-SELF as the user).
RECEIVING THE MOBILE KEY
- To receive a mobile key, the hotel guest needs to have the JustIN Mobile App downloaded on the mobile device.
- Please note, the JustIN Mobile App cannot be activated before SALTO sends the first key.
- Steps required:
- User downloads the app.
- Mobile key is sent to the reservation.
- SALTO sends a verification code to the given mobile number.
- User activates the app by giving this code.
- Key is received on the mobile device.
