SALTO Direct Key Integration

To configure the SALTO direct key integration, Hotel Admin users can navigate to Settings > Integrations > Door Lock Interface > Custom Interfaces > SALTO.

ENDPOINT: URL where Stayntouch PMS sends messages to SALTO.
PORT: Port number for the SALTO receiving end.
Encoder: Select this option if your hotel wants to use key cards.
Mobile App: Your hotel will need to purchase a JustIN Mobile App license from SALTO to support this integration.

Customer to confirm the below is setup from the Key Server:

Stayntouch IP addresses whitelisted, as well as, port forwarding from the Public IP address to the internal IP address from the port number.

In addition to the previous functionalities supported by our direct integration with SALTO, some of the benefits of the enhanced SALTO integration include the following:

1. Common Areas: For hotels, one of the major benefits is that you can encode keys for common areas. If the COMMON AREA toggle is activated from Settings > Integrations > Door Lock Interface > SALTO, you can enter the common area codes that will be included for checked in guests. Enter common area numbers separated by a semicolon (;).

Common areas can also be defined on a reservation level via Settings > Rates > Add-Ons > Select Add-On by selecting the Common Areas checkbox. Mapping added here is also visible and available from Settings > Integrations > Door Lock Interface > Custom Interfaces > SALTO on the MAPPINGS tab. These add-ons can then either be attached to a rate code or added directly to a reservation.

2. Automatic Mapping: For installers, the main benefit is that rooms can be automatically mapped from Settings > Integrations > Door Lock Interface > Custom Interfaces > SALTO via the MAPPINGS tab. To automatically map rooms, simply enter a prefix and select the AUTOMAP ROOMS button. This can only be done for rooms that have not previously been mapped. Please note, your hotel will need to provide a public IP address set up with port forwarding for our IP address to the SALTO server via port 8090 or whichever port selected.

Additional Note: In addition to an enhanced direct integration, this integration also supports the SALTO JustIN Mobile App (if you choose to buy the JustIN Mobile App license), and Stayntouch would simply be able to activate it for you.
