How To Set Up Planet Payment Devices

 

Planet Payment terminals arrive at the property preconfigured. Stayntouch will, however, need to add the terminal IDs under Hotel Admin from Settings > Integrations > Utilities > EMV Terminals. If the terminal IDs are not provided by Planet Payment in a sheet, these can also be found on the back of the terminal by the customer.


 

The terminals that are confirmed to work with Stayntouch include the following:

  • Yomani Pinpad Only (No Receipts): This terminal is best for Stayntouch Guest Kiosk, as receipts are NOT printed (no one has to regularly monitor to remove unused receipts).
  • Yomani Compact: This terminal is best for when the hotel wants to have receipts (we advise to have this one for reception areas).
  • Yoximo: This terminal is best to use if the terminal needs to be used in different locations.
  • Pax A920: This terminal also works with Stayntouch PMS.

 

If the terminal does not work, this is usually because it is not connected to the Internet. This is indicated by a sign on the terminal screen that says "ECR" with a stripe through it—or instead of "OK" it will say "NOK". The property has to connect with Planet Payment to resolve this issue.
