Exclude Payment Methods During Stayntouch Guest Kiosk Check-In
When the Kiosk Exclude Payment Types feature is enabled by Stayntouch Admin (please contact Customer Support) for a hotel, you will see an EXCLUDE PAYMENT TYPES option from Settings > Kiosk > Check In, where you can choose to exclude certain payment methods from Stayntouch Guest Kiosk check-in.
When a reservation with one of these payment methods is found during Stayntouch Guest Kiosk check-in, the below screen (this example is for a gift voucher) will show instead of the Reservation Details screen.
This solution can be used for hotels to control the ability to complete self-check-in via Stayntouch Guest Kiosk, or for other uses. Hotels can create a specific payment method (e.g., Non Kiosk), and then move that payment type to the EXCLUDED PAYMENT TYPES column.
Once the selected payment type is set to be excluded from Stayntouch Guest Kiosk check-in, all reservations associated with that payment type will receive a message to check in at the Front Desk. The message to be displayed can be customized by hotel.
