Unknown Credit Card Type
The Unknown credit card type is automatically enabled for all properties. From Settings > Financials > Payment Methods > Credit Card, you'll find the system-defined Unknown option. If a reservation comes in with a credit card that is not recognized (either by mapping or an unexpected error), the card will still show up in Stayntouch PMS, but as an unknown credit card type. This is to guarantee that the credit card is at least posted to the guest reservation. Moreover, when this option is enabled, all credit card payments with errors or invalid mappings will still show in the Journal and on the Guest Bill.
