Stayntouch PMS IP Based Access Restrictions
Stayntouch PMS access can be restricted by hotel/property to a whitelisted IP address range. As part of this functionality, Hotel Admin users have the ability to configure IP address ranges from Settings > Hotel & Staff > Security.
Any user accessing Stayntouch PMS will be authenticated by their login credentials and then checked against the configured whitelisted IP address ranges. If a user is not operating within the defined whitelisted IP address ranges, they will receive a notice indicating their current network does not have access to the hotel.
Troubleshooting: If you are having trouble accessing Stayntouch PMS from a device within a whitelisted range, try adding the range as individual lines with the range as one single IP address.
Please note, devices using cellular data to access the Internet do not have static IP addresses by default. Therefore, devices using cellular data cannot typically use this functionality, as the IP address changes regularly and is not predictable. If you wish to use a device with cellular data while this feature is enabled, please speak to your data service provider to see if they are able to assist you with creating and enabling a static IP address. This may or may not be an option depending on your provider and the device's configuration options.
