ⓘ We'd like to call out a few special items that have been long-awaited and will make many of our customers happy:

  • The search values entered and filter values selected from the rate search screen within Settings > Rates > Rates for Hotel Admin users will not be cleared upon entering a rate and navigating back to the rate search screen.
  • You can now bundle Include in price add-ons to a rate, so that any exclusive tax on an inclusive add-on will be bundled with the room tax on the Guest Bill and folio.
  • We’ve added a new search Connect API to call a single charge code only by an ID, including basic taxes.


Product Enhancements

Search/Filter Values For Rate Search Not Cleared After Entering A Rate & Navigating Back

 

The search values entered and filter values selected from the rate search screen within Settings > Rates > Rates for Hotel Admin users will not be cleared upon entering a rate and navigating back to the rate search screen.




Bundle Include In Price Add-Ons To Rates

 

You can now bundle Include in price add-ons to a rate, so that any exclusive tax on an inclusive add-on will be bundled with the room tax on the Guest Bill and folio.


Rate Change Not Allowed For Day Use Reservations After Check-In

 

Once a day use room is checked in, and room and tax is posted to the Guest Bill, when attempting to change a room rate from the stay card, you will get a message stating, “Room rate is already posted; manually adjust charges from the guest bill.”


Completed Rates Can Be Based On Other Rates

 

Completed rates can now be updated to be based on other rates as long as the child date range is less than or equal to that of the parent rate. This now saves a user from having to recreate the rate.

Stayntouch Connect: New GET/charge_code/{ID}/basic_taxes API

 

We’ve added a new search Connect API to call a single charge code only by an ID. The response will return data for the selected charge_code_id, including basic taxes. 

 

The API endpoint URL is GET/charge_codes/{ID}/basic_taxes.

Stayntouch Connect: Assign Rooms For Current Business Date When Room Is Due Out, Clean, Or Not Ready

 

You can now assign any available rooms for the current business date regardless of the status, as long as they are not occupied, preassigned, or out of order for the stay dates of the reservation. Please note, if the room is not vacant and clean/inspected, you will not be to check the room in.

 

The API endpoint URL is PUT/reservations/id/assign_room.
