We'd like to call out an item that has been long-awaited and will make many of our customers happy:

  • Stayntouch PMS now supports allotment shared notes, which allow users to create a note from the Notes section of the allotment Summary tab and have the note added to all reservations under the allotment.

Allotment Shared Notes

 

Allotment shared notes allow users to create a note from the Notes section of the allotment Summary tab and have the note added to all reservations under the allotment. An allotment note can be marked as POST TO ALL ALLOTMENT MEMBERS. When an allotment note is marked as POST TO ALL ALLOTMENT MEMBERS, the note will be visible from the stay card note section of the reservations associated with the allotment.



The note will be posted from the Notes section of the allotment Summary tab. The note will have an indicator if the note was shared, reading, POSTED TO ALLOTMENT MEMBERS.



When shared to stay cards, allotment notes can be viewed on all of the stay cards of reservations within the allotment. The note will be marked as an allotment note on the stay card, indicating that the note originated from the allotment.

 

When an allotment reservation is created, Stayntouch PMS will check to see if the allotment has any shared notes, and Stayntouch PMS will automatically add the shared note to the guest’s stay card as an allotment note. Users cannot edit or delete the allotment note from the stay card.




If a note is deleted or edited from the Notes section of the allotment Summary tab, then the note will be updated on all the stay cards to which it has been shared.

 

If a user edits the shared note and deselects the POST TO ALL ALLOTMENT MEMBERS checkbox, then the note will no longer be shared with or visible from any stay card in the allotment. Any stay card that was displaying the note will no longer display the allotment note.






If a reservation is removed from an allotment, then the stay card will no longer display any shared notes from the allotment.



 

Allotment note sharing will be recorded in the allotment Activity Log.


Generate Deposit Invoice With Company Address Details

 

You can now generate a Deposit Invoice with company address details. When a reservation is created with a Company Card attached, from Bill #1, you can now select a checkbox to USE COMPANY ADDRESS before paying the deposit for the reservation.


 

Once the USE COMPANY ADDRESS checkbox is selected, you can take the deposit payment for the reservation, and the Deposit Invoice will show the company address. If the USE COMPANY ADDRESS checkbox is not selected when a Company Card is attached to the reservation, the Deposit Invoice will use the primary guest details (as per existing functionality).




 

Any Copy Of Deposit Invoices and Void Deposit Invoices will also use the company address when USE COMPANY ADDRESS is selected.

 

NOTE: If the company address is detached or the USE COMPANY ADDRESS checkbox is unchecked when generating the void bill, the Void Deposit Invoice will use the primary guest details.

The API and webhook change log is now displayed on our API specifications page. This change log offers developers a clear overview of the released improvements and new additions to Stayntouch Connect APIs and webhooks.

Brand Information Added To GET/Hotels & GET/Hotels(id) Calls

 

We’ve added brand information to the GET/hotels and GET/hotels(id) API calls. This new item can be used by vendors that work with larger chains that require a breakdown by brand.
