We'd like to call out a few special items that have been long-awaited and will make many of our customers happy:

  • You can now create add-on date ranges, which work similarly to setting a date range for rates. 
  • We have introduced a new Deposit Invoice that allows hotels to display the stay charges that will be incurred when a guest checks into the hotel in order to accept a deposit.
  • You can now choose to Bundle with Price during reservation creation, from the stay card, and for groups, which will increase the room rate by the price of the add-on.
  • "Likes" (Guest Preferences) have been added to the Stayntouch APIs for the consumption of our external partners.


Product Enhancements

Display Of Room Type Names On Group Room Block Details Tab

 

You can now view the entire room type name when the room type name is too long to display the entire name from the group Room Block Details tab by hovering over the room type. Please note, if the room type name isn’t too long to display the entire name, this does not apply.


Add-On Date Range

 

You can now create an add-on date range from Settings > Rates > Add-Ons > Select Add-On > + NEW DATE RANGE. This functionality works similarly to setting a date range for rates. Please note, the ENABLE ADD-ON DATE RANGE AND SETS toggle must be enabled from Settings > Rates > Rate & Add-On Settings for this option to become available. We recommend creating new add-ons utilizing the date range.



In the example below, the weekday rate is set to $20, and the weekend rate is set to $35.



 

Please note, existing add-on configuration will remain the same, so the AMOUNT option under Add-On Settings above will still remain, and this amount is what will be posted to the Guest Bill in the event there is not an active date range set.


 

From the Guest Bill, you can see the add-on amounts posted as per the date range rules.


 

When attaching an add-on with a date range during the reservation creation process, the amount displayed for the add-on will be the amount on the arrival day.

Items to Note:

  • Add-on bundles and add-on date ranges can be done simultaneously.
  • If the ALLOWANCE toggle is enabled from Settings > Rates > Add-Ons > Select Add-On, the add-on date range configuration will not be available. Please note, this functionality is in progress and will be coming soon.
  • Not all Central Reservation Systems (CRS) support add-ons with varying rates. Before activating this functionality, hotels should verify that add-ons with varying rates are supported. This will ensure that external systems display the accurate amount for add-ons with date ranges. 

Bundle With Price Reservation Creation Add-On Changes

 

From the Enhance Stay section during reservation creation, you can now choose to Bundle with Price, which will increase the room rate by the price of the add-on. Moreover, when Bundle with Price is selected, Add-On Bundles and Add-On Tax Bundles will be displayed on the Guest Bill as single line items.

From the Add-Ons section of the stay card, you can now choose to Bundle with Price, which will increase the room rate by the price of the add-on. Moreover, when Bundle with Price is selected, Add-On Bundles and Add-On Tax Bundles will be displayed on the Guest Bill as single line items.

From the Add-Ons section of a group, you can now choose to Bundle with Price, which will increase the room rate by the price of the add-on. Moreover, when Bundle with Price is selected, Add-On Bundles and Add-On Tax Bundles will be displayed on the Guest Bill as single line items.

From Settings > Rates > Rates, when a rate is selected, add-on price will now display under Rate Details > ADD-ONS.


Rate Manager: Scroll Through Selected Rates

 

When hierarchy restrictions are enabled, and a user clicks on rate restrictions from Revenue Management > Rate Manager, the user can scroll through the list of rates selected to display when there are more than 10 rates.


Stayntouch Guest Mobility: Nationality & Country Fields

 

From the Guest Info screen via Stayntouch Guest Mobility, the nationality and country dropdown fields will display a list of countries as per expected functionality. This enhancement is to address the scenario where the nationality and country dropdown fields were not showing any countries if values were specified from guest mandatory schema setup in Stayntouch Admin.

From the Guest Information screen via Stayntouch Guest Kiosk, the nationality and country dropdown fields will display a list of countries as per expected functionality. This enhancement is to address the scenario where the nationality and country dropdown fields were not showing any countries if values were specified from guest mandatory schema setup in Stayntouch Admin.

 




Connect APIs: GET/guests & GET/guest{id} Now Includes Likes

 

Stayntouch PMS now includes guest card likes in GET/guests and GET/guests{id} API calls. Please note, likes will only display when data is present in Stayntouch PMS. The system will not display empty data. 

Juyo Settings Moved To Settings > Integrations > BI

 

Juyo settings in Stayntouch PMS have been moved to Settings > Integrations > BI, as Juyo has changed from a Revenue Management System to a BI System.



 

We have introduced a Deposit Invoice that allows hotels to display the stay charges that will be incurred when a guest checks into the hotel in order to accept a deposit. Please note, this functionality must be enabled by Stayntouch Admin, so please contact Customer Support to have this activated for your hotel.

 

Once enabled, you will see a new Deposit Invoice option from the BILL LAYOUT dropdown when generating an invoice from the deposit bill window on the Guest Bill. The Deposit Invoice will show all charges linked to the rate and add-ons attached to the reservation, and will populate a Deposit Invoice. This functionality will not raise any charges at the time of generation.




You can also configure Deposit Invoice settings from Settings > Hotel & Staff > Stationery > Deposit Invoice.
