ⓘ We'd like to call out a few special items that have been long-awaited and will make many of our customers happy:

  • You can now complete a bulk cancellation from the group Rooming List.
  • You can now choose to display the rate name during Stayntouch Guest Mobility and Stayntouch Guest Kiosk check-out.
  • A new API has been created to allow vendors to add sell limits to Stayntouch PMS.


Product Enhancements

Group Rooming List: Bulk Cancellation

 

You can now complete a bulk cancellation from the Rooming List tab within Groups > Manage Groups > Select Group. To complete a bulk cancellation, begin by selecting more than one reservation from the Rooming List. You’ll then notice a CANCEL RESERVATIONS button appears, and upon clicking the button, you’ll see a preview of reservations to be canceled. To confirm and cancel these reservations, click CANCEL SELECTED RESERVATIONS. If you do not wish to cancel the reservations, click NO, DON’T CANCEL.

 

Items to Note:

  • No action is performed on already cancelled, checked in, or checked out reservations, and these reservations will not appear in the preview popup.
  • Bulk cancellations are recorded in the group Activity Log tab.


 



Rate Activity Log Records Add-On Updates

 

The ACTIVITY LOG from Settings > Rates > Rates > Select Rate now records the following add-on updates:

  • When an add-on is updated from Add to price to Include in price
  • When an add-on is updated from Include in price to Add to price
  • When an add-on is removed from a rate
  • When an add-on is added to a rate


Change To Invoice Totals Order When Extended Tax Breakdown Is Enabled

 

When EXTENDED TAX BREAKDOWN is enabled from Settings > Financials > Financial Settings, the order of the total charges on invoices will now display in the following order:

  1. Total Charges
  2. Total Credits
  3. Net Amount
  4. Balance



 

The change has been applied to all invoice templates where the extended tax breakdown is shown. These include to following:

  • ProForma Invoices
  • Information Invoices (Except when the HIDE TAX setting is enabled)
  • Deposit Invoice
  • Final Invoices for Guest Invoices, Account Invoices, Group Invoices, and Copy Of Invoices
  • A/R Invoices

 

When EXTENDED TAX BREAKDOWN is not enabled, the order of total charges on invoices will retain the existing order.

Display Rate Name On Stayntouch Guest Mobility/Kiosk Check-Out

 

You can now choose to display the rate NAME (Translation) instead of the charge code name during Stayntouch Guest Mobility and Stayntouch Guest Kiosk check-out by turning ON the DISPLAY RATE NAME ON BILL/FOLIO toggle from Settings > Rates > Rates > Select Rate.

APIs With Pagination: Maximum Records Per Page Set To 50

 

Previously, our Connect API GET calls had a default of 25 records per page with no restrictions on the maximum number of records per page. As of this release, we now restrict the per page parameter set by our vendors to a maximum of 50 records per page.

 

If more than 50 records per page are requested, the API call will fail and display a message indicating that the maximum number of records per page has been exceeded. We have put this new parameter in place to optimize performance for all of our vendors and to eliminate accidental traffic overloads that can negatively impact both customers and vendors. 

New Connect API To Update Sell Limits

 

A new API has been created to allow vendors to add sell limits to Stayntouch PMS. This was requested by revenue management systems connected to Stayntouch PMS via the Connect APIs and allows them to control the availability limits.

CRS Reservations: Guest Count Recorded In Stay Card Activity Log

 

When a reservation is created via a Central Reservation System (CRS), the stay card Activity Log in Stayntouch PMS now shows the guest count (adults/children) for the CREATE RESERVATION activity.

Details Sent To IDeaS If Upload From IDeaS To Stayntouch PMS Fails

 

The following details are now included in the response to IDeaS if the upload from IDeaS to Stayntouch PMS fails:

  • Date Range
  • Rate Code
  • Room Type

Update To QR Code Format Per ZATCA Invoice Requirements

 

To meet the requirements of the ZATCA invoice integration in Saudi Arabia, the QR code format now meets the following criteria when the ZATCA QR Code Format toggle is enabled by Stayntouch Admin:

  • For Electronic Tax Invoices, you can generate and print a QR code encoded in Base64 format with up to 500 characters that contains the specified fields below as per Annex (2) of the Controls, Requirements, Technical Specifications, and Procedural Rules for Implementing the Provisions of the E-Invoicing Regulation.
    • The QR code fields will be encoded in Tag-Length-Value (TLV) format with the tag values specified below.
    • The TLV encoding shall be as follows:
      • Tag: The tag value as mentioned above stored in one byte (for tags 1 to 5).
      • Length: The length of the byte array resulting from the UTF8 encoding of the field value. The length shall be stored in one byte.
      • Value: The byte array resulting from the UTF8 encoding of the field value (for tag 6).
    • Length: Length of hash (SHA256) is 32 bytes.
    • Value: The byte array constituting the value of the field.
    • The QR code also includes a Cryptographic Stamp.
