ⓘ We'd like to call out a few special items that have been long-awaited and will make many of our customers happy:

  • You can now choose to display the rate name (including translations if entered) on the Guest Bill.
  • We now send a variety of additional details in the outbound message from Stayntouch PMS to Revinate CRM.
  • The Toast POS integration now supports non-residential postings so that the revenue gets posted before the business date is rolled during the night audit. The import is done as part of the night audit before the date change.

Display Rate Name On Guest Bill/Folio

 

You can now choose to display the rate name (including translations if entered) on the Guest Bill and folio by turning ON the DISPLAY RATE NAME ON BILL/FOLIO toggle from Settings > Rates > Rates > Select Rate.




Daily Production By Rate Scheduled Report: Change To Select All Functionality

 

We’ve changed the way the SELECT ALL options work on the scheduled report version of the Daily Production by Rate Report from Reports > Schedule a Report/Export > Scheduled Reports. Previously, the SELECT ALL options only selected the current options, so if a new option was created afterwards, the report wouldn’t include it. For example, if the scheduled report was supposed to show all rate types, and a new rate type was added afterwards, the scheduled report wouldn’t show any new rate types. Now, the scheduled report will show all rate types (or any other parameters) regardless of when the report was created.


Stayntouch Guest Kiosk: Close Check-In Flow When Already Checked In

 

If a guest tries to close the Stayntouch Guest Kiosk check-in process after check-in but before key creation, they will receive a message stating, “You are checked in, and your room number is XX.”


Additional Profile Details Saved When Data Is Sent From CRS

 

Central Reservation Systems (CRS) send profile details in two different sections in the inbound message. Previously, Stayntouch PMS only read the primary section, but we have now implemented new logic to include additional details if they exist in the non-primary section. For example, if the primary section (ResGuests) only has the guest name, and the secondary section (ResGlobalInfo) has the guest name, email address, and phone number, Stayntouch PMS will take the data from the secondary section.

Toast POS: Non-Residential Postings/Payments Workflow

 

The Toast POS integration now supports non-residential postings so that the revenue gets posted before the business date is rolled during the night audit. The import is done as part of the night audit before the date change.

 

The transfer of non-residential charges can be activated by enabling the TRANSFER NON-RESIDENTIAL CHARGES toggle on from Settings > Integrations > POS Integrations > Toast. The account number also needs to define where the charges will be posted.


AccountView Configuration Page Improvement

 

We’ve improved the sort order functionality on the AccountView mapping page.

Data Sent To Revinate CRM

 

Per request from Revinate CRM, the following details are now sent in the outbound message from Stayntouch PMS to Revinate CRM:

  • Profile VIP Status 
  • Profile Date of Birth
  • Profile Gender
  • Profile Subscription Status (Promotions and newsletter email opt-in in guest profile)
  • Reservation Room Charge Code/Original Room Type (The original room type the guest purchased)
  • Reservation Deposit Paid
