Stayntouch PMS Activation and Usage of Payment Link
Stayntouch PMS supports a payment link feature, where guests can make payments for reservations through a link included in confirmation emails. Guests can add credit cards to cash bookings or change credit card details. To activate the payment link feature for your property, please contact Customer Support or Onboarding (onboarding@stayntouch.com). The payment link feature is available for Stayntouch Pay and Shift4 integrations.
Once activated for your property, you can navigate to Settings > Financials > Payment Links to easily configure payment links for your property. You can learn more about the required settings here.
After that, you will need to navigate to Settings > Guest Mobility > Guest Mobility Design Setup and make sure Guest Mobility Design Setup is activated.
Note: The color that displays behind the logo in the actual payment link is driven by the entry in the BEHIND THE LOGO BACKGROUND field. If no value is entered (such as #FFFFFF), it will default to orange. The background of the button is driven by “CONTINUE” BUTTON BACKGROUND. The text color on the button is driven by “CONTINUE” BUTTON COLOR.

From Settings > Guest Mobility > Guest Mobility Design Setup, under Guest Mobility Optimized Pay By Link, you can also configure a BACKGROUND IMAGE, BACKGROUND COLOR, and WELCOME TEXT to appear on the confirmation letter with the payment link.

Please also make sure each of the following toggles are set to VISIBLE:
- Arrival date
- Departure date
- Reservation number
- Guest name
- Number of guest
- Room rate
- VAT
- Welcome text

Moreover, from Settings > Hotel & Staff > Stationery > Confirmations/Cancellations > General Confirmations/Cancellations Settings, you can also configure a PAY BY LINK BACKGROUND COLOR, and choose to enter PAY BY LINK TEXT (button text) and PAY BY LINK SUPPORTING TEXT (supporting text below the button) that will appear on the confirmation letter.


After activating all of these settings, the payment link feature will be active for the property. Simply generate a confirmation email to a guest reservation, and from the confirmation email, the guest can pay their bill by following the steps in the screenshots below.
